Technical news
- Global blocks may now target accounts as well as IP's. Administrators may locally unblock when appropriate.
- Users wishing to permanently leave may now request "vanishing" via Special:GlobalVanishRequest. Processed requests will result in the user being renamed, their recovery email being removed, and their account being globally locked.

- The Arbitration Committee appointed the following administrators to the conflict of interest volunteer response team: Bilby, Extraordinary Writ
Non-constructive AFD messages?
[edit]In Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2024 Bangladeshi military coup, I wonder if the comments added in [1] should be removed for not being constructive, considering the user's edits such as [2] (use of Russian propaganda source)? --Minoa (talk) 19:26, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Minoa I started that AFD, I shouldn't decided that and I will leave that for admins. Plus an extra note, A group is running propaganda to prove this incident as a military coup. —MdsShakil (talk) 20:51, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
