Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Cosmopolitan on the Park has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 02:38, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Social media in the fashion industry. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 04:10, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Anwar Hadid

[edit]

The article Anwar Hadid has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable person who had an article recently deleted.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. –Dream out loud (talk) 17:14, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Lieseylulu and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! –Dream out loud (talk) 21:47, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review

[edit]

There is a lot of really good information on Elizabeth Nyamayaro in your article and your lead section is solid. From what I can tell, the sources are all reliable, and the article itself is neutral and balanced. There really isn't much I would change, but if I had to suggest anything, it would be to maybe get rid of the "quotes" section, and make a section devoted to just the TedTalk instead. I'm assuming some of the quotes are from the TedTalk as well, so you could include them in there. Also, in the info box where it says "known for," I would try to make it more clear. I get that the quote is the title of the TedTalk, but at first glance, it was a bit confusing so maybe write instead, TedTalk, titled "An invitation to men who want a better world for women," and her work with the UN and HeForShe. You could also add a "See Also" section at the bottom of the article for related topics. None of these edits are that important, but I think they could potentially improve the article. The one thing I've struggled with in my article that you did well in yours is finding legit sources, so kudos for that. AdamtheGOAT (talk) 21:14, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

WIKIMEDIA COMMONS

[edit]

I am conducting research for a class I am taking where I am trying to learn about what users believe to be the biggest issue with Wikimedia Commons and what we can do to fix that. If you are interested, please answer the questions below: Questions:

1. How often do you use Wikimedia commons? 2. How long have you used Wikimedia Commons? 3. Can you tell us about your biggest annoyance with Wikimedia commons? 4. In what ways could Wikimedia Commons be improved?

Thanks in advance!

I have written on a number of Pages in the Encyclopaedia. One in particular I have written the Historical sections and challenged bad entries..... Still doing so...... But I feel so alone, here....... MacOfJesus (talk) 11:58, 25 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
