Maurice Hilleman

[edit]

Hi there!

Thanks for the set of big edits you're making to Maurice's article - he deserves some coverage of his achievements.

Would you be interested in joining @Eddie891: and I - we have an in-progress major rewrite going on at this page. There's also a long list of sources on the talk page.

Thus far I don't think your changes have overlapped, but would be good to make sure we don't end up duplicating research and edits. We're planning on taking it to GA and ultimately FA status - if you're interested we can talk about who is working in what area - there's still a good amount left to cover, but I think we're over the half-way mark.

Oh hey! I didn't know you guys were doing the same thing (but good to know). Your draft definitely contains a lot more details than the current version. I'd like to join, but I have huge time constraint after today. So you may directly take some of the content & sources that I just added to the article, if you think they're useful. In particular, if possible, I'd like to keep the following description or similar in the introduction, "According to one estimate, his vaccines save nearly 8 million lives each year. Many have described him as one of the most influential vaccinologists of all time." I appreciate your work. Kutu126b (talk) 23:56, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
