Your username
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Oriel College", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to represent an organisation rather than an individual, see WP:CORPNAME. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. --David Biddulph (talk) 09:57, 27 February 2017 (UTC)

[edit]I'm glad to see that you've got your username sorted out. Below this I'll add a welcome message with a few useful links, but there are two specific points. Firstly as you are editing the article Oriel College, Oxford you need to read about conflict of interest. You can probably get away with editing directly on matters of fact, particularly if you can provide references to published reliable sources to support the changes, but in general you would be advised to use the article talk page to suggest changes, again supplying sources to support your suggestions, and then an unconnected editor can make the edits. Secondly, although the edits which you have made so far might seem to be "minor edits", they don't quite meet the specific criteria in WP:Minor edits, so in future you ought to bear the latter in mind. --David Biddulph (talk) 12:25, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
