Good luck with the RFA. I am sure you are keeping watch and know that I support you. Keep up your spirits; I think your nomination is on the right track. I know the content creation opposers have shown up but with any luck there will not be enough of them to sink your nomination. Many editors recognize your contributions and trustworthiness. I am sure you will be a great administrator. Donner60 (talk) 23:11, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Alteration of user groups

I have removed your membership in the "autpatrolled" group. This is not because you have misused it by creating problematic pages but rather because the admin who granted it seems to have done so out some misguided belief that you needed it when you clearly do not. I have noted as much in your log and hope you understand that this is not a comment on your work here, it simply appears that an admin granted you a user right that you did not need and should not have had. This will have no effect whatsoever on your ability to edit or create new pages. Beeblebrox (talk) 07:01, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Misunderstandings

When people go that far to egregiously misunderstand you, as if they're looking for any reason to doubt you, it's best just to ignore them; not write a double paragraph and give them more fodder to work with. --v/r - TP 20:28, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

welcome to the mop corps

Congratulations on your successful RFA!
Since I have nothing better to do than put a big blue box on your talk page, allow me to use it to impart the words of wisdom
I received from the puppy after my RFA passed – almost ten long, sordid, why-didn't-I-find-a-better-hobby years ago:
  1. Remember you will always protect the wrong version. (I got nothing here. It's inevitable.)
  2. Remember you must always follow the rules, except for when you ignore them. Without exception, you will pick the wrong one to do. (See #5.)
  3. Remember to assume good faith and not bite. Remember that when you are applying these principles most diligently, you are probably dealing with a troll. (You'll attract many more of those now, because mop. They must like to drink the dirty water in the bucket.)
  4. Use the block ability sparingly. Enjoy the insults you receive when you do block, because really, what else is there to live for?
  5. Remember that when you make these errors, someone will be more than happy to point them out to you in dazzling clarity and descriptive terminology.
It will not be a personal attack because we are admins and, therefore, we are all rouge anyway.
  6. Finally, remember to contact me if you ever need assistance, and I will do what I am able.

Spam Usernames

Hello. Some believe that the ACB template is too harsh for single offenses. Most people just don't understand the purpose of Wikipedia and they misunderstand. For those people, the {{uw-softerblock}} template exists to say the same thing in a nicer way.--v/r - TP 04:23, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi K6ka,

Looking at this IP's block log, it looks like the previous block was for 2 years and you have blocked it for 3 months, (and the blocks up to that point had escalated fairly consistently). just wondering if you meant 3 years instead, but if not, then don't worry about changing it. deleting content about myself

Hi - I'm trying to delete information on a page that was created about me...how do I do this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicolajriches (talkcontribs) 03:15, 22 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Nicolajriches: I came across your removal of content and have left a message on your talk page with some suggestions. Triptothecottage (talk) 03:24, 22 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Hi Nicolajriches. Articles on Wikipedia aren't "owned" by anyone, so no one person has complete or total control about what happens to that article; this includes the subject of the article itself, if the article is about a living person. That being said, if you have concerns about the article, please see this page for guidance. In all cases you may post your concerns on the article's talk page for other editors to see and comment on. If there are any unsourced material on your article, you are free to remove it since our policy on articles about living persons requires that everything be attributed to a reliable source; however, you can't simply remove or delete an article just because you no longer want it there. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 03:25, 22 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

SnilyDoe, your request was closed on 11 August 2015 because you failed to respond to it in time. In addition, it would appear that the username you requested was created almost a year after your request was closed, so your request unfortunately cannot be processed. I appreciate your diligence in monitoring vandalism on Wikipedia. I am a professor at Xavier University of Louisiana and am teaching two courses with Wikipedia. In one of these courses, Freshman Seminar, the students are testing boundaries and decided to contribute fake information to Angela Davis's page in attempt to prove their point that Wikipedia isn't reliable. I am exceptionally grateful for your work and the work of the community members like yourself you immediately corrected their misconception and I am happy to report that buy in for the utility of Wikipedia is already increasing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mosterbur (talkcontribs) 19:52, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

User:RobertPelloni

Hi K6ka. You did a username change for RobertPelloni per his request. Do you think WP:REALNAME is an issue here? The user states he is the same "Robert Pelloni" who designed Bob's Game. He also has a tendency to edit articles he as a COI with. So, it might not be too long before some else notices the similarity between username and real person and tags as a possible problem. Is there a way for Pelloni to verify he is who he says he is to avoid any misunderstandings? Thanks in advance. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:45, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Marchjuly: WP:REALNAME suggests having the user email info-en@wikimedia.org; that would probably be the best course of action. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 23:02, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
