Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Jonathan Govette AI, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Writing about yourself is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians.

As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Friendly advice

[edit]

Came across your discussion @ WP:Teahouse regarding Draft:Jonathan Govette. After preliminary review of the draft I also opinion about your proposed draft, may be you have goal of public service but draft is self promotional and unlikely to fit in realms of Wikipedia policies. I would sincerely advice you to go through What Wikipedia is not. As such for neutrality sake I will request Wikipedia editors in Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Health and fitness to look into your draft. Still, prima facie I doubt efforts will be worth your time spending.

World of knowledge has so many subjects select some thing else to contribute where you do not have any conflict of interest or self promotional goal. That what all Wikipedians do here without conflict of interest and self promotion, That too benefits the humanity. Bookku (talk) 02:13, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Jonathan Govette.png. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:24, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jonathan Govetter AI. In order for Wikipedia to keep this file that your account has uploaded, it's going to need to be provided with two things; (1) more specific information about the source of the image and (2) a file copyright tag. Item (1) basically tells Wikipedia and others the provenance of the image, while item (2) tells Wikipedia and others the copyright status of the image. The copyright status of an image not only determines how it might be used on Wikipedia, but it also determines whether Wikipedia's downstream users can download the file and re-use it in other ways other than Wikipedia. If all of what I just wrote is difficult for you to understand, you might find Wikipedia:Image use policy or c:Commons:Licensing helpful. Finally, this same photo can also be found used on Linkedin which further complicates things since Linkedin's general licensing is not really acceptable for Wikipedia's purposes. If you did take this photo yourself and then you did upload it to Linkedin, a more formal verification of your Wikipedia:CONSENT may be needed in addition to the two items above for the file to be kept. If you didn't take the photo yourself, you're going to need to get the CONSENT of whoever did in order for the file to be kept. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:42, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Jonathan Govette.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jonathan Govette.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 19:58, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

COI and creator draft deletion request

[edit]

If you intend to continue, add content on your User page that you are attempting an article about yourself. This can be in your own words or the WP:COI format. Be aware that if the draft is ever accepted, you are not allowed to edit it thereafter. Instead, you will be limited to requesting changes on the Talk page of the article, for others to implement or not. At this point, you may be considering abandoning this effort. If so, at the top of the draft, add Db-g7 inside double curly brackets {{ }}. This is a request for an Administrator to delete the draft. David notMD (talk) 11:42, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
