There are at least two notable women called Michelle King and I think this article has combined parts of both their lives. Michelle P. King appears to be born in South Africa and is a leading expert in gender, diversity and inclusion policies. The Michelle King who was on New Zealand television is, I think, a different person. Is there any source which describes King as coming from South Africa, studying in NZ, then working for UN Women? Some more research needed to clarify.
