Doc Watson sculpture

[edit]

Hello, You are credited with adding a photograph of the Doc Watson sculpture in Boone North Carolina. My husband, Alex Hallmark, is the artist who created the sculpture. I was hoping you might add a credit to my husband (http://www.alexhallmark.com/)with the picture. Thanks. Appalachian State bball players needed

[edit]

Hi Geologik. I know you're an avid Appalachian State University editor, specifically for the football program. Some of us over at WP:CBBALL are attempting to write articles for all missing men's basketball conference players of the year. I know you haven't edited since late June, so this message might fall on deaf ears, but I was wondering if you'd have any interest in helping us out. On Southern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year, the following players from Appalachian State were named the CPOY: Charles Payton (1981), Tyson Patterson (2000), and Donald Sims (2010). Any interest in knocking these out? They'd each have {{Southern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year navbox}} on their articles as well. Jrcla2 (talk) 23:22, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of NCAA Division I FCS football programs, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Georgia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Lombardi Bowl has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While I can find some announcements about the proposed initial game and invitations to it, I can find nothing about it actually occurring. I don't believe that this college all-star game that was announced and never played is notable because there is not significant coverage in reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  ★  Bigr Tex 00:01, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
