Question about ISMF as associate member of AIOWF

[edit]

Dear Fogna23, thank you for your contributions. I noticed that in the List of international sports federations as well the Global Association of International Sports Federations you noted that the International Ski Mountaineering Federation (ISMF) is an Associate Member International Federation of AIOWF (representing a sport which is on the Olympic Programme of Milan-Cortina 2026). While this is a legitimate assumption (considering that Ski Mountaineering seems to be indeed in the Olympic Programme of Milan-Cortina 2026, (I added a citation) and considering the equivalent procedure in the ASOIF for the federations whose sports are added, for example, for Paris 2024), nevertheless, I cant find any source explicitly corroborating that ISMF is "officially" an "Associate Member of AIOWF". AIOWF does not seem to have a website of its own, and I can't find nothing in the ISMF website or anywhere else. Do you know any reliable source corroborating that ISMF is officially an Associate member of AIOWF? Thank you in advance.--Harry Deconstructing (talk) 01:35, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i found IMSF in this list (https://olympics.com/ioc/international-federations) where IOC only seems to mention members of AIOSF and AIOWF, where ARISF members are listed here (https://olympics.com/ioc/recognised-international-federations) Fogna23 (talk) 10:43, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Fogna23 Thanks! It's still not explicit, but I suppose we can take it as an indication. I will let you know if I find anything else. Harry Deconstructing (talk) 17:19, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
