Hello, Firatlal, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay.

Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block.
Where can I experiment with editing Wikipedia?
How do I create an article?
See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below.
How do I create citations?
  1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
  2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
  3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
  4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
  5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like <ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing).
  6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
  7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References==
{{Reflist}}
What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one?
A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Wikipedia. (See this page for a complete list of WikiProjects.) If you would like to help, add your username to the list that is on the bottom of the WikiProject page.

Information icon Hello, I'm IamNotU. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Lahmacun seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Safavid dynasty. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Wario-Man (talk) 19:07, 1 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

this is not my own opinion. The Safavids are Turco-persian state, they have nothing to do with the Kurds. can you tell me the source you used? Firatlal (talk) 20:00, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. --Kansas Bear (talk) 05:19, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Öd Tengri

[edit]

Hello Firatlal,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Alexandermcnabb, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Öd Tengri, for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at [[{{{article}}}]]. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Alexandermcnabb}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Karash Han moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Karash Han, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. John B123 (talk) 00:37, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No one does research on Turkic mythology. Only some Turks have resources. If there are other sources, find them. It's not my fault no one's doing any research on this. Firatlal (talk) 01:18, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Addressing other users

[edit]

Hello Firatlal. This is not a good example of how to address other users ('which idiot..'). Please be aware that people can be blocked for personal attacks. Also, your comment suggests you have no interest in looking at any reliable sources on Kurdish ancestry of the Safavids. Meanwhile, you are happy to state that they intermarried with the Turkmen, also without a source. Finally, you removed two references in the same edit. Do you think the article is better without those references? Are you sure you know enough to be editing here? EdJohnston (talk) 04:34, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, this comment is a gem as well. Wikipedia doesn't put up with this kind of thing for long, so please edit more calmly and don't call other people racists. EdJohnston (talk) 04:43, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@EdJohnston: Another one to add to the list: I'm sorry, but I've never seen another page more ridiculous in my life. You've added all the Turkic states to the list. but even though the Safavids are a dynasty of Turkish origin, when we change it, you immediately attack. Persians on Wikipedia are pathetic. --HistoryofIran (talk) 23:27, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please tell me where I insulted other users? You add things to every page about the Turks according to your own interests. it's called pathetic, and it's not an insult. Firatlal (talk) 02:24, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Szélatya, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Turkmen and Ottoman. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:12, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks

[edit]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for Making personal attacks. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Per this comment about Persian editors ('Persians on Wikipedia are pathetic') at Talk:Persianate society. If this abuse continues you may be indefinitely blocked. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:00, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You've proved once again that Wikipedia is not neutral. thanks.. Firatlal (talk) 16:46, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've increased your block to indefinite, since you seem to believe that your insults are perfectly correct. The appeal options are explained at WP:GAB. I also remember you were calling people racists a while ago. EdJohnston (talk) 16:53, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not saying my insults are true. Wikipedia is not an impartial source, too many users upload false information, but you block me instead of correcting them. Firatlal (talk) 01:47, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"warlike editing on Turkic matters" Can you explain what that means? are you slandering me now? I didn't even do anything except add a few maps to the page of Turkic States and dynasties. Firatlal (talk) 04:13, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

a few months ago, I made an edit on the Safavid page, and they blocked me, and I didn't do anything else after that day.it's ridiculous that you're even blocking me right now, because I haven't edited any pages, I've just stated my opinion in the talk section. that's what the talk pages are for. Firatlal (talk) 04:17, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why don't you answer. Firatlal (talk) 14:24, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Heyyy Firatlal (talk) 01:07, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's been 5 days, please unblock me. what do you want? please answer me. Firatlal (talk) 11:08, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To answer that question, you are blocked indefinitely, and if you wish to be unblocked you will need to make an unbock request as explained in the block message. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:22, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

they blocked me for 3 days for saying my own opinion on the talk page, slandered me when I said it was unfair for them to block me, and they blocked me indefinitely. he didn't answer when I texted him again, and I've been blocked for 7 days now. Isn't talk pages a place to say our own opinion without insulting someone?I'm just new to Wikipedia, so I can't quite understand some things. I'm really sorry if I made a mistake unwittingly Firatlal (talk) 19:06, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You're going to need to acknowledge the personal attacks that you made and commit to not repeating this behavior if you want this block lifted. signed, Rosguill talk 19:33, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • (I've moved this unblock request down here to the bottom, where it will be seen.) Your block is for attacking other people, which you have not addressed in this request. If the "opinions" you wish to post on talk pages are derogatory opinions about other contributors or groups of people in general, then no, that is certainly not what talk pages are for. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 19:27, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

So why not do something to racist users on Wikipedia? I'm sorry, but a lot of pages on Wikipedia are in the hands of racists, and you're not doing anything about it. as I said, I'm new to Wikipedia, so I don't know everything.yes, I made a mistake, and the penalty for this was 3 days of blocking, but it was 7 days, why don't you remove my blocking? what do you want? I can't understand. Firatlal (talk) 19:50, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Again, I apologize, yes, I am guilty, I wrote it with a momentary anger. I didn't want to insult a person or a nation, I was just angry at racist and troll users who were on Wikipedia. I promise I won't do it again, I won't even talk to anyone if I have to. Firatlal (talk) 19:54, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm finding it hard to believe my eyes here, but you are further attacking other Wikipedia editors as "racist users" and "racist and troll users" at the same time as apologising for doing so? That is absolutely unacceptable, and suggests that you are incapable of maintaining the civility that is required here. As a result, and to prevent further such attacks, I have now revoked your ability to edit this talk page. If you ever decide that you are capable of interacting in a civil manner with other people in a cooperative environment without making such attacks, you can ask to have your talk page access restored at WP:UTRS. But be warned that any further attacks in any UTRS request will lose you access to that too. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:01, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm going to offer you a little more advice now. I have had a look over your editing history since you created your account, and I'm seeing multiple aggressive and abusive interactions with others. You accuse others of being racist while making racist attacks yourself. You remove ethnic-based content whose sources you dislike while adding your own ethnic-based content without any sources at all. And I can not see a single instance where you have attempted to engage in civil discussion on any disputed article talk page. If you want to have any chance of ever being unblocked, you will need to radically change your approach to this project. I suggest you have a good read of WP:CIVIL, WP:NPA and WP:CONSENSUS, and make sure you fully understand them and are committed to following them, before you consider any new attempt at an unblock request. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:35, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
