you should be ashamed of yourself
being a muslim, you are labelling hindus things? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.154.90.177 (talk) 19:17, 2 September 2014 (UTC)

September 2014
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Andhra Pradesh. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Warning for continued POV-pushing. The official web site of new Andhra Pradesh clearly states that Telugu is the official language of AP (in the singular), and doesn't even mention Urdu. Which combined with your attempt to use a book that was published 11 years before the creation of new Andhra Pradesh as a reference for the status of Urdu an unsourced edit. Please see WP:Verifiability, which clearly states that the burden of proof is on whoever adds material, that is in this case you. Thomas.W talk 08:42, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Thomas.W: It is not unsourced, and if you remember there was long entailing discussion on Talk:Andhra Pradesh regarding it and at last it was decided to leave the info until new sources are found that Urdu has lost its status in new AP. Actually it was you who counter to consensus removed the text and now are trying to engage me in edit-war. Don't try to make me afraid of these warning messages.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 08:47, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- It is unsourced. Read my message. The warning stands. Thomas.W talk 08:50, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Thomas.W: It is not unsourced, but defiinetely you can always make POV push. Your anti Urdu stand (at least in connection to AP article) is quite evident, you backed out from discussion and didn't participated in it, then some consensus was reached and you still didn't said a word against it. Then one fine day some vandal came and removed the info, I restored it and lo! you get awake from your deep sleep and revert my edit claiming that it is unsourced. Your this act has made all our discussions & efforts at talk page futile and waste of time. You revert edits under assupmtions (or infact pre-assumptions) like ones on my talk page and on Kososvo and then blame other editors. --Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 09:00, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- I have checked the discussion on the talk page, and what I see is walls of text posted by you, and repeated attempts by you to push your view. But no clear consensus either way. What you don't seem to realise is that there's no need to prove that new AP has dropped Urdu, they start from scratch. If the official new AP web site says that Telugu is the official language, and makes no mention of the status of Urdu, then that's it: Telugu is the official language, and there's no state-wide status for Urdu. So if you want to add Urdu as official or co-official language in new AP it's up to you to prove that it is, not up to others to prove that it isn't. Wikipedia's rules are very clear about that, the burden of proof is on whoever adds something, whether it's added as new material or as a revert of someone else's removal. And please stop posting talk-back messages on my talk page, I follow your talk page so I will notice if you reply. Thomas.W talk 09:14, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Thomas.W: they start from scratch, is it as per your original research? Because, AP is not new state, Telangana is, AP is old state out of which new state has been formed; you say, "I have checked the discussion on the talk page, and what I see is walls of text posted by you", you may have checked it but not read it, as I have clearly mentioned the point there; and I have posted walls of text becuase I had point & its proof and other editors agreed with it (when they were called for intervention). I know, you not only follow my talk page but have been trying to follow my edits too so that you may get an excuse to act against me but why get offended by talk backs. You were quick to revert my edit(s) but failed to act on actual vandalism happening on AP article that too shows you are tracking my each edit, so, be happy with following me but I don't care. Thanks.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 09:28, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- Please stop it, claiming that I follow you around is just silly. You're not that important. Thomas.W talk 09:32, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Thomas.W: I didn't claimed that, you mentioned it, and your acts show that you are not intrested in reverting vandalism on AP article but too quick to revert my edit (which was to revert vandalism). And you have not read the discussion fully, your actions and talk clearly reflect that. I'll suggest to move the discussion to article's talk page.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 09:38, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- I don't follow every edit on Andhra Pradesh in real time, I just take a look at what has happened every now and then, both on AP and on close to 7,000 other pages (that's what the watchlist is for). And in your case I happened to take a look shortly after you had made the edit. Your edit was not reverting vandalism, BTW, it was yet another attempt to get your view into the article. So you should be a bit more careful with your choice of words. Thomas.W talk 09:53, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Thomas.W: Okay, thanks for keeping watch on 7k pages. So, if I revert & restore something, it is POV push, but if you do same act, that is NPOV. It is irrelavant if what I'm doing is my view or not unless it is NPOV, there was agreement to maintian status-quo regarding the status of Urdu in AP and I was trying to maintain that, even other editor(s) were acting on same line which you can see for example, here & here too worked in spirit of consensus reached at talk page but you seem to disagree and act contrary to it.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 12:45, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

We are a group of Cornell student helping to improve wikipedia through a course assignment. As you might see already, we are trying to bring more content to the page 'Economy of Asia'. We are trying to add in regional policy and global economic environment. We added some links already, and we are excited to hear some advice/ feedbacks from you. Please let us know your comments. Please follow the wikipedia rules or else you will be reported
Hello Mr. Faiz Haider, I have noticed you to keep removing the changes made by other users on some articles i.e. "Hadith of Position". You are not letting the Sunni opinion to be added. Please don't be so intolerant to Sunni views. If you continue violating the rules I have no choice but report you. Thanks, --Editor1390 (talk)
- @Editor1390: Thanks for you suggestion and headsup. But if you see my recent edits you'll find that I have removed all matter based on Original Research, non-reliable & non-verifiable sources; and that included Shia View section too. I'll suggest to you that if you don't want your edits to be reverted you add relevant reliable & verifiable citations with the matter; that'll help us all.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 12:12, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Faizhaider: I don't know about Shia view section. I am talking the about the very first section where you keep removing my changes. You don't understand what I am trying to tell you? The article is biased and one side so I made changes to make it more objective but you keep removing my changes. Don't be a sectarian. --Editor1390 (talk) 12:21, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Editor1390: You fail to understand, you need to add relevant reliable & verifiable citations with the matter, as an editor adding the content Burden of proof lies on you.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 12:33, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Faizhaider: I did add citations. It was your one sided biased version that didn't have a single citation (I am talking about the first section). The first section where you don't allow others to contribute did not have a single citation.--Editor1390 (talk) 14:29, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Editor1390: Thanks for your effort. And the version was not mine it was just existing one, normally ledes don't have citations because lede is meant to be summary of the article, but as you were adding superflous text to existing version I was inistint it to be supported by citations. Meanwhile, I have further modified the article by Expanding it, Adding/improving reference(s), Removing unsourced content and bit Clean up.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 16:26, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Faizhaider: Thank you for understanding. Also, could you remove the section "Relevant Hadiths" with sub headings: "Hadith of Pond" and "Hadith of twelve successors" because they have got nothing to do with the topic, they are irrelevant and off-topic. Thank you --Editor1390 (talk) 16:50, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

Oh okay well all bukhari sayyids are descended from surkh posh bukhari a Sufi saint from Bukhara, they now reside in different parts of the world but mainly within Pakistan. They are similar to naqvi sayyids although they don't keep the surname naqvi but rather bukhari as an indication of descent from the prophet. They claim lineage through Ali Al-Hadi the tenth Shia imam, here is some information on surkh posh bukhari, who you can search on Wikipedia or http://peerbaba76.blogspot.co.uk/p/hazrat-syed-jalaluddin-surkh-posh.html. It is common knowledge that people with the surname bukhari are usually bukhari sayyids. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gzsk101 (talk • contribs) 19:38, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Gzsk101: The blogspot link you are providing is not an WP:RS. Also, Bukhari (بخاري), which is a common surname in Central and Western Asia, means "from Bukhara", e.g. Muhammad al-Bukhari (810–870), editor of Sahih al-Bukhari, the book of Hadith, was not a Sayyid but was from Bukhara.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 19:46, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
Yes that is true simply having the surname bukhari doesn't 100% mean that one is a bukhari sayyid, however all bukhari sayyids keep bukhari as their surname. They are descendants of the prophet through Ali Al hadi, sorry what do you mean by its not an [WP:RS]. Bukhari sayyids are sometimes intertwined with naqvi sayyids however they keep a different surname. Within Shia communities(where sayyids wear black turbans) people with the surname bukhari are readily recognised as descendants of the prophet. You can just add a note saying that having the surname bukhari doesn't 100% mean that they are a sayyid although they're are many sayyids who keep that surname. I'm going to stop editing the sayyid page until we resolve this, and then you can change it yourself as editor. Thanks. So what do you mean by WP:RS, and why do you keep reporting me for vandalism?!! Also if you look under the subtitle of sayyids in Pakistan, they sayyids from Bukhara are the bukhari sayyids.
You are disrupting
You keep changing and distorting Sunni opinions while you are a Shia (intolerant one) and under "Sunni View" in the page Hadith of Position, you add quotes out of context. Like you added Albanis narration when it is not his opinion but rather but just a narration. It shows your desperation that you can't tolerate a Sunni opinion.--Editor1390 (talk) 21:41, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Editor1390: I fail to understand why do you think I'm distorting Sunni opinions when I'm just trying to balance out the section because you are just adding opinions of single flavour while others too exist. Also, you fail to understand that few changes which you are doing are either fully uncited or synthesis or extrapolation of citations which is not allowed as per WP policies and are hence being reverted. Also, I'll suggest to focus on content rather than individual comments and keep the discussion civil.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 06:43, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Faizhaider: Acting very civil? I am adding what the Sunni consensus is under the Sunni view section. You are putting the narration (like Al-alBani's)under the Sunni View section while the same narration is also present in other sections. You are repeating the content due to your desperation.--Editor1390 (talk) 14:00, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Editor1390: You only asked me, "could you remove the section "Relevant Hadiths"", now, before the section is removed some of its content is being re-adjusted, so for time being duplicacy may occur but in your desperate attempt to suppress counter sunni views than to yours you have resorted to accusation and allegations and modifing the article content as per your whims and fancies in contrary to sources provided.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 15:57, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

"attempt to suppress Counter Sunni views"? I am not attempting to surpress any counter sunni view, I have not touched the "Shia View Section" a single time so you are lying big time. It is you who is distorting the Sunni view section. You are quoting a narration under a "Sunni View" section while there are already loads of narrations available in other sections. Due to your sectarianism and lack of knowledge you write "as per Al-albani" while Al-Albani was just a grader of Hadith not collector. It shows your lack of knowledge and desperation.
As for my comment where I asked you to remove the "Relevent Hadiths" well you haven't removed them. You should be ashamed of yourself for being a liar and deceptive.
Also, you removed my reference (a website) claiming it was talking about a different Hadith. You are either lying or saying this due to your ignorance of the science of Hadith. The link talks about the authenticity of that additional sentence. You can not silence the truth no matter what you do. If you do this again I will contact other senior editors about your disruptive behavior,

Proposed deletion of Verny Capital
The article Verny Capital has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article has been tagged for 10 months with few fixes; company has unclear notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bearian (talk) 17:42, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

Hasan ibn Ali
You made some valuable changes to a paragraph in the article on Hasan ibn Ali. In the middle of your changes, there was a change by an IP editor. I have reverted the edit by the IP editor - Abu Talib al-Makki cannot have been a Salafi, since he lived 900 years before the Salafi movement started.
Do you think it would be better if the word "refuted" (disproved) were toned down? Wouldn't "disputed" be more neutral? The article only cites one source for the "refutation" - the religious website: www.al-islam.org. Do you know of objective histories that deal with this issue?-- Toddy1 (talk) 08:21, 27 November 2014 (UTC)

About Tatbir
Twelvers Usuli follow those Marjas who are alive. Sistani, Ali Khamnei is followed by majority of Shias, so their fatwa is more important. and if you are in favor of tatbir then you can create one more section as "Akhbari view on tatbir". 39.48.125.175 (talk) 05:52, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
- Dead scholars doesn't means that their opinions & verdicts carry no weight or place. For you information 99% of Hawza study material consists of works of these dead scholars. Please refrain from disruptive editing and POV-pushing.
- Also, any article is not just about current status & affairs, on this specific article even for arguments sake if we assume your point that only living Maraji are important then too comments/edicts/fatwas of dead scholars give perspective that current stand (whatever it is) has been evolving in recent times.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 07:58, 28 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wajid Ali Shah, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fort William. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Muslim world, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Here I've removed some material you added to this article on August 15, 2014. This looks at a quick look to be POV-pushing or Spam. Perhaps this added content was relevant and useful, but I don't see how. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 23:17, 30 January 2015 (UTC) Hello Wtmitchell, I'm not sure what are you referring here. I know it is bit late response but I have not been around recently. Thanks.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 15:20, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
- Hi. It looks like I confused this. This looks like it concerns this revert, which harkened back to this earlier edit. On this second look, I see that I was completely in error here. I apparently focused in on Ref parameter name="6KillerApps" and what I took to be its incongruity in the context of an article on the topic Muslim world. I completely missed the fact that the cited source was a ted.com talk with a trendy title. This was my error, for which I apologize. I've undone the edit here. Thanks for pointing this out to me. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 20:31, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
- I guessed something like that. Thanks & Cheers.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 04:24, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

Language-population update project
Hi. The 18th edition of Ethnologue just came out, and if we divide up our language articles among us, it won't take long to update them. I would appreciate it if you could help out, even if it's just a few articles (5,000 articles is a lot for just me), but I won't be insulted if you delete this request.
A largely complete list of articles to be updated is at Category:Language articles citing Ethnologue 17. The priority articles are in Category:Language articles with old Ethnologue 17 speaker data. These are the 10% that have population figures at least 25 years old.
Probably 90% of the time, Ethnologue has not changed their figures between the 17th and 18th editions, so all we need to do is change "e17" to "e18" in the reference (ref) field of the language info box. That will change the citation for the artcle to the current edition. Please put the data in the proper fields, or the info box will flag it as needing editorial review. The other relevant fields are "speakers" (the number of native speakers in all countries), "date" (the date of the reference or census that Ethnologue uses, not the date of Ethnologue!), and sometimes "speakers2". Our convention has been to enter e.g. "1990 census" when a census is used, as other data can be much older than the publication date. Sometimes a citation elsewhere in the article depends on the e17 entry, in which case you will need to change "name=e17" to "name=e18" in the reference tag (assuming the 18th edition still supports the cited claim).
Remember, we want the *total* number of native speakers, which is often not the first figure given by Ethnologue. Sometimes the data is too incompatible to add together (e.g. a figure from the 1950s for one country, and a figure from 2006 for another), in which case it should be presented that way. That's one use for the "speakers2" field. If you're not sure, just ask, or skip that article.
Data should not be displayed with more than two, or at most three, significant figures. Sometimes it should be rounded off to just one significant figure, e.g. when some of the component data used by Ethnologue has been approximated with one figure (200,000, 3 million, etc.) and the other data has greater precision. For example, a figure of 200,000 for one country and 4,230 for another is really just 200,000 in total, as the 4,230 is within the margin of rounding off in the 200,000. If you want to retain the spurious precision of the number in Ethnologue, you might want to use the {{sigfig}} template. (First parameter in this template is for the data, second is for the number of figures to round it off to.)
Dates will often need to be a range of all the country data in the Ethnologue article. When entering the date range, I often ignore dates from countries that have only a few percent of the population, as often 10% or so of the population isn't even separately listed by Ethnologue and so is undated anyway.
If Ethnologue does not provide a date for the bulk of the population, just enter "no date" in the date field. But if the population figure is undated, and hasn't changed between the 17th & 18th editions of Ethnologue, please leave the ref field set to "e17", and maybe add a comment to keep it so that other editors don't change it. In cases like this, the edition of Ethnologue that the data first appeared in may be our only indication of how old it is. We still cite the 14th edition in a couple dozen articles, so our readers can see that the data is getting old.
The articles in the categories linked above are over 90% of the job. There are probably also articles that do not currently cite Ethnologue, but which we might want to update with the 18th edition. I'll need to generate another category to capture those, probably after most of the Ethnologue 17 citations are taken care of.
Jump in at the WP:LANG talk page if you have any comments or concerns. Thanks for any help you can give!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
