Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the Infant baptism article, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. In fact, it is considered a spam. You may find our linking guidelines helpful in this regard. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Caballero/Historiador 15:32, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Spamming

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.

  • @Elleos1212: Just wanted to let you know that a series of edits you made on Nov. 26, 2016, are considered Spamming. Though adding links to your book in Amazon.com is not an appropriate contribution to Wikipedia, there are many other ways in which your expertise will serve well to Wikipedia readers. As user ChamithN referred above, the |Teahouse is an excellent place to start. Caballero/Historiador 17:32, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
