{{helpme}} Why my user page link is red and there is nothing there? Dreamback1116 (talk) 14:57, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Because you haven't put anything there. Feel free to edit it and tell a short bit about yourself, what your goals on Wikipedia are, etc. You may also consider adding some userboxes. xenocidic (talk) 15:00, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}Can I send icons or photos of me to the user page? If so, how to? Dreamback1116 (talk) 15:19, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You can add userboxes to your userpage, if you would like to upload a photo of yourself, you can, just go to Wikipedia:Upload. But I would probably caution against doing this - it's ultimately your call. xenocidic (talk) 15:24, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}Please! Who can tell me how to creat a "contents" column in my discussion page? It seems too hard for me. Dreamback1116 (talk) 04:01, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just add the following anywhere on your talk page that you'd like the table of contents to be: __TOC__ GlassCobra 07:13, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}Can I use a photo from a paper in a journal? And how to create a chart in an entry? Dreamback1116 (talk) 12:12, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Photos from newspapers generally aren't allowed (I assume that's what you mean). Also, if you want to make a chart, see Help:Table for help. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 12:23, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}My userbox always at the bottom of my userpage, how to make it attached to other box, so looks neater? Dreamback1116 (talk) 11:19, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. To make everything come out next to each other, the code for creating the boxes needs to be next to the other ones. If you have more detailed questions, the best place to ask is at WP:Help desk. Best regards. --Chasingsol(talk) 13:18, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What language is Yayo?

[edit]

Hello Dreamback1116. On 24 December 2008, you added an etymology section to the article on Pidgin. In it, you refer to "A Yayo word pidians, which means people." However, I can find no reference to a 'Yayo' language. Could you please clarify, correct or delete this reference. Thanks. Jonathan O'Donnell (talk) 11:47, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your devotion to this detail. It's been a long time since I wrote that sentence, and I can't remember what is Yayo, either. But I will find the source to which I refered that time, and making due modification in a few days. Dreamback1116 (talk) 04:13, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome, and thanks for your editing. Dreamback1116 (talk) 14:02, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
