Encyclopedic manner
[edit]I actually agree with your edit comment: This article does not seem to be written in an encyclopedic manner. I wrote much of that content, and I found myself using journalistic language techniques, like attributing information inline. It seems surprisingly difficult to write about breaking news without doing this. I've re-written the lede a bit for a more encyclopedic style, and will try to do more as I go along.
