These pictures are being worked on and stored here for later and immediate use (unless they get deleted), and to tidy up this hole. Also a few portals that convey my interests.

Insult me!

Hey everyone. I'm staring an insults competion on this page. Be original, cretive and try to keep the swearing to a minimum. I will rate all entrants out of ten. The winner will recive a signed, dated and original drawing of a turnip, by me. So, go for it. I'll get you started.

Behold! The tropy! YOU MAY NOT TOUCH IT!
You facesious Cad! It's easy!

Not bad F 22. lacks originality. I award yee 7 seahorses.

  • I was just going to complement your addition to taunt, but this contest is too good to ignore. You are a pathetic excuse for a human. Seriously, up your nose with a rubber hose. You are a walking satire of yourself. Your own mother denys any knowledge of your existence, and to tell the truth, I don't blame him. Zing! So, anyway, good job on Taunt. ReverendG 18:10, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Ouch! Thankyou mate! Nice one ReverendG, I award yee 4 porposes, 3 lobsters and a mermaid. Exellent work.

When do I get the turnip? ReverendG 04:36, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
When you win of course (You haven't won yet)! Dfrg.msc User talk:Dfrg.msc 02:36, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Mint! 3 clams a ripped dress 2 we-whaas and a bag of sand. Not bad Culverin.

Will i be getting my Mint! 3 clams a ripped dress 2 we-whaas and a bag of sand soon, i hope so.

Stop! Your poor garmmar, spelling and non-existent sentence structure is insult enough! Dfrg.msc User talk:Dfrg.msc 03:43, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

well give me the turnip then. I am hungry Culverin 08:00, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Including Strive on the Esperanza programs page

Hey There Dfrg.msc, I saw that you added your Strive campaign on the Esperanza Proposals page. It sounds like you've got something good going, but did you mean for it to be suggested as an Esperanza program, or just to let all of your fellow Esperanzians know about it? Since it seems like you've established it already, if you just wanted to let people know about it, it might make more sense to move it to the Esperanza talk page instead. -- Natalya 15:48, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi Natalya! Yes, the Strive campagin is going well, and I've met some really positive feedback, it is good to let others know that their contributions are not going unnoticed. Due to your regards about it being an Esperanza program, I would like it to be, but I would hate to have acess to it restriced to only Esperanzians - or people to even think this. I do want to get as much awareness as possible without being a nusance or annoying people. I will take it to the talk page, and thanks for you suggestion.

Thanks again, Dfrg.msc User talk:Dfrg.msc 06:44, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

What you talken bout willis

Whats with this wacky Strive campaign. Sounds like some sort of hygen product. So what is it? Do you go around giving strive to people. Because if it is, i want in.

Culverin 09:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Errr. Please Culverin, you have to make an effort. That is what you wrote, and this it what is should look like:

What is with this wacky Strive campaign? It sounds like some sort of hydrogen product. So what is it? Do you go around giving strive to people? Because if it is, I want in. From, Culverin 09:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Even better would be looking like this:

Appropreate Title (eg, Strive. NOT "What you talken bout willis")

Hello Dfrg.msc. Can I please have some information about your Strive Campagin? What is it? It looks good and I would like to join. Thanks, Culverin 09:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

In response to your question(s): You can find a summary of it on the Esperanza talk page, and all users are free to give the award, but you must follow the basic procedure (see Hossen27) or it will degrade the value of the award. Thanks, Dfrg.msc User talk:Dfrg.msc 10:26, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Grammer? Slammer?

  • Hydrogen?
  • Campagin?
  • Commas and capitals?
Please dont dirty up my user page, with your impure grammer.
Ps: Does it really matter if proper grammer is used on a user talk page? Does it really matter if it is not 100% sound?

Culverin? 11:24, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Right-o, from now on I will not "dirty up my user page, with your impure grammer". And yes, it does matter about correct spelling and grammar, you should at least make an effort. The standard of writng you display reflects on you. If you show respect to a person's talk page they will show respecy for you (unless they ask you not to use "impure spelling and grammer" .

Thanks, Dfrg.msc User talk:Dfrg.msc 07:10, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Grrr. I just talked to Culverin about this. Ok, so this is what you wrote:
  • Dfrg.msc, its me Shavey. Hey i need u to edit me user page. Cool thanx go to this linkJamo

This is what it should look like:

  • Dfrg.msc, it's me Shavey. Hey, I need you to edit my user page. Thanks, go to this link: Jamo
I'm sorry to sound cranky but I just talked to Culverin about this, on Wikipedia "the standard of writng you display reflects on you. If you show respect to a person's talk page they will show respecy for you".
Anyway, I'd love to help you on your page. Do you want anything specific? Dfrg.msc User talk:Dfrg.msc 07:24, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
Also, the link is broken so I can't go to your page. Dfrg.msc User talk:Dfrg.msc 10:34, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Respecy? (respect)
  • Commas where they shouldnt be!

And you go on about me dirting up the place, when you cant even get it right!

Culverin 11:51, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

SORRY!!! And could you possibly put the pics I have on the page into a gallery? Jamo
Thanx Dfrg.msc, but could u put the pics i have into the gallery too Jamo

  • Culverin! What is it that I have been telling you! Grammar! Do not indent text unless you are responding to a post! No rediculosly long amount of dots! Do you notice that the last three posts are me telling you about these things?

Don't you mean the Striv? Campaign? In response to your question: yes. Dfrg.msc User talk:Dfrg.msc 00:00, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Nah Mate

Dfrg.msc please do not vandalise my talk page, and please dont leave false accusations on my talk page, as i and many others consider it vandalism.

At no stage did I vandalize your user page. You specificaly asked me not "dirty up my user page, with your impure spelling and grammer". So I didn't. I showed you the same editing courtousy that you have shown me. Again and again. Even now, you do not respect my page as I have asked you numerous times to do. Please, Wikipedia is a much more formal setting than say, MSN. So:

  • Spaces
  • Appropreate headings and titles
  • Spelling
  • Capital letters
  • Grammar
  • No abreviations
  • Check before saving
  • Sign your posts
  • Relevancy

Please this is basic stuff. If you fail to grasp this; your posts will be erased from my page, and I expect you to do the same to me. As for the many others, whom? Also, what are these "false accusations" on your talk page? I never acused you of anything! What is it that you speak of?

I propose a truce, repect is integral to builing a Wikipedia. Thanks, Dfrg.msc User talk:Dfrg.msc 11:19, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi, as a fellow Brickfilmer I have some suggestions if you want to do more Brickfilms. Tape down the set and your camera so they don't move around, it's kind of hard to watch when the set is dancing around ;). Find out if you can turn off ALL auto features on your camera. It will prevent the light from flickering, and other annoying mistakes. In the future, it would also be good to consider adding sound. Not bad for a beginner! If you're still interested in brickfilming, check out Brickfilms.com. It's a great resource! Good luck! Hotwheels53 02:59, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia Hotwheels53! And thanks for your advice, apon the completion of the movie I will send it to you. Send me yours! Fan of Nintendo? Good man! Hi, there no reason to add 'further information', because there is already a line/name of Brickfilm mention in the section of 'Lego in Art' and Animation is Art. Also the 'flom.gif' has been move because it is a good example what Brickfilm and stop animation is all about using any kind of building blocks such as Lego, Mega Bloks and others. Thanks Hotwheels. Your support means a lot. As I said earlyer, I wish for broard-band, then I could view all the other brickfilms out there, I hope to see your's soon. I will definately seen what is out there in the Brickfilm community, and I will probably join up. I'm working on a few GIF animations for Wiki, so I'll show those to you upon completion. If so, would it be possible for you could take a picture of a minifig with that, the old torso and preferably a non-printed head? Mairi 17:10, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

So: Strive.jpg, Striv.jpg or Strive.png? Well, here they are:

    • Picture Credit: User: Mets501. This one is certainly the nicest, very colourful - it would look best on pages with a background colour. Comments?

    • Picture credit: User: Dfrg.msc. This is nice as it's fine without an image size, is a good banner and merges perfectly with the white background. Comments?
I think that the preferred design is the Strive.jpg image. I do not like and refuse to give the Striv? banner. It has no point.--Chili14 22:55, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

This, I very much doubt. Who else would it be? This vandal obviosly shares the same falure to grasp basic spelling and grammar, like yourself. Your reference to "it" indicates you know something - and the way it is spaced mimmicks exactly your style. Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 07:02, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

    me?

If you look at most vandalism, you will see that they use bad grammer. You cant base a accusation of this level on grammer! Anyway have you seen me use bad grammer recently?

Please get rid of those accusations.

    Culverin ? Talk 07:21, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

STOP making titles. This is part of an ongoing discussion. You DO NOT make a new topic everytime you have something to say. Have you seen me use bad grammer recently? Yes. Right now. And before that! You have used bad grammar twice today on my page! This does not enter into it. It is very similar to your editng style and had you not have denied this so fiercely, I would have been happy to ignore it. And it is an accusation not accusations. Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 07:29, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Where i come from, grammer cannot prove anything nor can any kind of edit style! Take away your false accusatons. Culverin ? Talk 07:39, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

I appeal for calm, we must uphold the Wikipedian values and laws, but not do anything that will be regretted.

You cant just jump in and randomly accuse somebody who you think has the same style. Culverin ? Talk 07:40, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

I disagree, if an illegal act (impersonation) was commited, then appropreate action must be taken. It is a condition of Wikipedia. My accusation is harmful only to you and if you have not done anything (as you have so strongly argued) then you have nothing at all to fear. Thanks, Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 08:07, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

No joke, where else would I put him? Uh.. I'd like to establish a "Astronauts in popular culture" section or an Astronauts in popular culture page, there would be alot that could be added to either (think movies and games). Thought I may need help with the creation and setup. What do you think ? Thanks, Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 02:40, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

    SVGs and such

I unfortunately have no idea how to make a SVG. As SVGs are not raster images, it's possible that making them might mean starting from scratch rather than simply converting, but I don't know for sure. You might be better off asking someone else. When it comes to modifying images, generally it's not safe to assume that modification is a good way to get around license issues. If you really want an image that has a license you like, you're safest drawing/photographing it yourself (not tracing, and not taking photographs of something copyrighted). Take care. --Improv 13:05, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the quick response, I'll probably go to the Village pump or somewhere like that. See you around, Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 22:46, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Incidentally, I appreciate your taking that image out of your sig. It's much more pleasant to chat with you when I'm not chopping images out all the time, and I think the community is generally appreciative of signatures like your current one. --Improv 00:34, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

The "Strive" thing could also be converted. Generally I just tag and move on as people I've found aren't entirely resonsive to comments that their images are incorrectly formatted, however thing may have change since I last tried... 68.39.174.238 22:53, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

You can try Inkscape, which I keep hearing mentioned, or something else in SVG#Support_in_applications. 68.39.174.238 23:28, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Strive as a personal user award

Hey Drfg.msc, we've archived "Strive" in the Esperanza programs section for now, but not because we don't think it has a lot of good behind it; it seems that it would be more appropriate and appreciated as a Personal user award, and you should definiate propose it as such! -- Natalya 20:59, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

    Thanks Natalya, I certainly will follow your advice, see you around. Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 08:06, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

    Turnip Trophy

G'day. I just wanted to ask if you could append your signature to the Turnip Trophy that you gave me sometime ago. I will create a section for my awards in the near future and I think that all of them should be signed. Besides, I like your signature with your hilarious MTG miniature card. Best regards.--Húsönd 00:16, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

    Of course my friend, anything for small waterborne bird. Love, Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 07:35, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks Bro! This is quite possibly the most random thing on English Wiki. If you see anything more random, tell me. Love, Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 01:57, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
    Here's something rather random.--Húsönd 03:18, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Hey, this wasn't broken yesterday! It belonged to an article on the verge of deletion, so I guess they got rid of the image as well. --Húsönd 13:33, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

    September Esperanza Newsletter

    Program Feature: Barnstar Brigade
Here in Wikipedia there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go unappreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors!
    What's New?
September elections are upon us! Anyone wishing to be a part of the Advisory Council may list themselves as a candidate from 18 September until 24 September, with the voting taking place from 25 September to 30 September. Appreciation Week, a program currently in development, now has its own subpage! Share your good ideas on how to make it awesome there!
The Esperanza front page has been redesigned! Many thanks to all who worked hard on it.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
    1. The proposals page has been updated, with some proposals being archived.

    Dictator barnstar

    As you requested:

    File:Fakebarnstar7.GIF The Dictator Barnstar
I present to you the Dictator Barnstar! Here's a hint: Aim for Poland, but watch out for Russia.--TBCTaLk?!? 08:25, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

However, I remind you that this is a humor barnstar, and should not be taken seriously (or should it???) :) --TBCTaLk?!? 08:24, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Right-o, that was very, very, unexpected. Usualy the answer is "Dfr, is that you?" "Look, you just can't keep doing this!" "I've moved on!" "I'm with Craig now!" ect. Cue restraining order. Anyway, perhaps my request was a joke - or perhaps a strict order, it matters not. All that matters is my thanks to you, Bitey. I'll take Russia if I can make it past the bears. However, I remind I am a humor barnstar, and should not be taken seriously (or should I?). Thanks again, Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 09:03, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
P.S. Help me get some dirt on Craig.

    Unquestionable art

Since last time you only got a broken link, I decided to upload one of my most random works. I hereby present you with a man sitting on a park bench and his dog, all made out of what was left from a pack of cigarettes. Regards.--Húsönd 20:48, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

    Woohoo!

This is the best thing ever. Nominate for featured! Nominate for featured! So anyway, how do you take apart Red Decks? Clerics? White reversal/prevent spells? Creature rush? Counterspells? Bubbling Beebles? That picture is really great. Let's see if we can't find a place to put it on Main Space. Thanks, Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 02:08, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Why would someone take this picture? To prove that Jimbo has been to Finland? There's saunas everywhere... Anyway, I usually play with a green+black or white+black deck (well, actually I haven't played Magic for more than a year now). When my opponents play with red, they're just doomed. I nearly always succeed in neutralizing their creatures. So they have to resort to sorceries to directly inflict damage on me. But those sorceries are a waste of time, I'll kill first anyway...--Húsönd 02:56, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
You miss the point, it's Jimbo: near a sauna! A sauna Husond. A sauna. Anyway, yes, White seems to be Death for Red, but their are a few ways to work around it (I play with White, Green and Red and Artifacts), but I suppose it depends on what you are playing with, Goblin Decks have more creatures than there are atoms in the universe, and Direct Damage relys on Instants and Sorceries rather than creatures. I agree with your leave of absence from the game, I think although bringing many people to the game, the Kamigawa set has almost killed it. Luckily, there is a good M:TG community here, we play games with our Leigeons Decks and sit back and dream of another Prophecy.Great to talk to you, Husond.
