To: User talk:Angeldeb82. Hello. I was just wondering why you feel that Christina Marie Riggs's death date is uncertain or unclear? The official web site for the State of Arkansas lists the execution date as May 2, 2000. This is the link to their website ([1]). Other sources also list May 2. Why do you think that it might be May 3? Is there something that I am missing? Please reply at my Talk Page. Thanks. (Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 21:40, 5 May 2011 (UTC))

Well, NCADP's website said it was May 3, so did the Death Penalty Information Center, and so did the newspaper on the Google Website (the top corner of the newspaper said "Tuesday, May 2, 2000", while the article on her said she was to be executed "tomorrow" (i.e., May 3)). They have to be right when they said "May 3". --Angeldeb82 (talk) 21:58, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi. Thanks! But, I disagree with your statement that "they have to be right". The best source we have is the State of Arkansas Department of Prisons — the government agency that actually carried out the execution. How could they be wrong? Now, they may have a typo in their official website, but that's unlikely. They are a credible source for their own official actions ... and, in fact, they are the original source ... and, thus, the best source. Thanks! (Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 22:03, 5 May 2011 (UTC))
I read all of your sources. The first two sources are probably just copying off of each other. (The wording was an exact replication ... and I think that those two organizations are actually the same group?) So, if there was an error in one report, it would simply carry over into the other. The third source (newspaper article) seems odd, though. I will call the State of Arkansas Prison Department and/or Attorney General ... and see what they can tell me. I can only assume that someone in the State government there must have some official knowledge about this ... especially considering that it was such an important event. I will let you know what I find out. Thanks! (Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 22:11, 5 May 2011 (UTC))
Hi. Sorry for the very, very late reply. I actually did call the Arkansas prison system, and I spoke with their public information spokeswoman. She confirmed that the death date was indeed May 2, 2000. Thanks! Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 22:08, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Take your pick: Catholic encyclopedia says 15 May, 1793. And all of these say 1793 anyway. I will not bother to debate this. Take it easy Angel. Cheers. History2007 (talk) 15:06, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for that interesting article. If you were to expand it a little and add inline citations (see WP:CITE), the article would qualify for front page exposure at T:TDYK. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 21:36, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Downward Spiral edit

I reverted your edit to this article. Per WP:Albums/Ratings template, no more than 10 reviews should be included in the ratings template. Dan56 (talk) 03:59, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 1UP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Java (software platform)

Sorry, but, what is your source for date release for java se? (Your changing my edit from 28-Nov-2012 to 12-Dec-2012, ok, i don't found any date stamp in the official-download-webpage, so I used the date of the digital signature of the package jre-7u10-windows-i586.exe that I downloaded. I am curious).

Hi. Could you comment at this talk page regarding the article Cruel Summer (GOOD Music album)? It concerns attributing an album's proper artist and title/name, as there are somewhat conflicting sources. Dan56 (talk) 02:42, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

tmbg refs

hi! i just wanted to say thanks for sprucing up/adding a lot of the reviews listed on articles for They Might Be Giants releases! i feel sort of silly personally "thanking" you for contributing to wikipedia, since it's for everybody, but seeing other people edit articles about TMBG things in such substantial way is kind of exciting to me! i've been kind of completely re-writing or expanding a lot of the album pages, but since i'm still learning the ropes around wikipedia i probably make lots of small errors and it bums me out that no one's bothered to catch them thus far! sorry if this sounds strange or haughty or something! i am being genuine even though sometimes i don't sound that way on the Internet! ~ Boomur [talk] 04:16, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

Hey Angeldeb82

I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).

So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.

What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.

The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page.

Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 21:21, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

Recent edits to Hot in Herre

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to the Hot in Herre article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you! Your "tweaks"

Your "tweaks" aren't tweaks at all, as most of them are wrong. First of all, neither Spin or Popmatters use that rating system, so stop changing it. Just because Metacritic shows 90 as the score for PopMatters, doesn't mean it's 9 stars; PopMatter's website doesn't even show a rating system. Secondly, RapReviews.com is called "RapReviews.com", evident by the massive RapReviews.com title and "© Copyright 2005 RapReviews.com" on their website. Lastly, why are you "tweaking" the titles of the references, when your iteration doesn't make it any more clearer than it already is. The only actual "tweak" you made that benifitted the article at all was the removal of the extra 's' on Rolling Stones.

And before you say that I'm "ruining" the article, I solely changed it from this to what it is now. You would probably know that if you payed attention to the article's revision history, though I suppose you were to busy making your "tweaks" right? Et3rnal 18:57, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

Well, all I know is that you've created redirects in links, with Q magazine instead of Q (magazine). I've fixed tweaks yet again, okay? --Angeldeb82 (talk) 19:07, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

You've been adding reviews to video game articles for a long time now, and I wanted to let you know that it's a big help to Wikipedia. Thanks for trim on Conker but wanted to leave a note that those Reception quotes should always be paraphrased if possible, both for copyright and free use reasons. In the case of the above, they can definitely be summarized in our own words. – czar 01:03, 27 August 2015 (UTC)

RE: SSX 3

Hey, Thanks for your additions to SSX 3. I've been working on the article for a while, and managed to get it up to good article status fairly recently. A few things I wanted to note in regards to your work on the Reception section:

  • According to Template:Video game reviews, only reviews cited in the text should be placed in the review template. I noticed that you added reviewers such as Playboy, Entertainment Weekly and GameZone to the template when you switched it over to multi-platform, but they aren't cited in the Reception section's text. Unless you would like to write about these reviews in the Reception section's text, I would suggest that these reviewers should be removed.
  • I've been told by some guys over at WP:VG that the GameRankings scores should be rounded to the nearest whole number to make them easier to read, so I've gone ahead and edited those scores.

Thanks, BlookerG talk 11:52, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. And as you know, I added a bit more prose to the Entertainment Weekly, Playboy and GameZone reviews. --Angeldeb82 (talk) 16:26, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

WARNING!!!

You were told to limited your review publications to 10 and you refused. You use 2 separate ways of one score yet you were told to use just 1. You are seriously treading on thin ice here.
