Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mangoeater1000 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. -- Marco Guzman, Jr  Talk  18:10, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

Request reason:

I am requesting to get unblocked immediately. Because of the way I got blocked, I think something fishy is going on. The editor who accused me, reverted all my updating edits on the Institute of Technology (United States) page, making it false and misleading. Despite this, he/she was not blocked, instead I was blocked. There was no proper check for me and I was not given time to say anything. I put updated informations on the NYU-Poly page, all of which were also deleted without discussion or consensus, leaving the page in poor form again. As an employee of NYU, I think all the people associated with the university have a vested interest on that page. I request an upper level administrator to look into the matter and check all the editors associated with it to make sure that no foul play is going on. Thanks--UserAmerican Gigolo talk 22:04, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

According to checkuser evidence, this appears  Likely, and that in combination with the behavioral evidence mentioned at the SPI page leads me to believe this block was appropriate. Hersfold (t/a/c) 22:49, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

You are unknowingly restoring vandalism. As I can see from the SPI page you mentioned, Marco Guzman, Jr basically stated some of the informations he removed and those infromations belong in that page according to Wikipedia rules. The other user 72Dino also made baseless comment that I created the account the day it got blocked. I work in NYU and never actually been to the engineering school campus, which is located in Brooklyn. That article needs to get updated and fixed. I rewrote the introduction. A lot still need to be done.

Decline reason:

Checkuser verified sock of blocked user. --jpgordon::==( o ) 18:49, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You should be ashamed to even request an unblock. Time and again you have shown that you are a disrespectful, antagonistic, lying editor with an agenda. Now you claim to be an NYU Poly employee? Before you claimed to be an Indian man doing your masters at that university and before that an an RIT graduate. You and your twelve sockpuppets have been banned from Wikipedia. -- Marco Guzman, Jr  Talk  22:57, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As my name was mentioned about making a "baseless comment", the User:American Gigolo was created on November 11, 2012, shortly after the sockpuppet User:Tigerman123 was blocked on November 8, 2012. I did not state it was on the same day. That is false. 72Dino (talk) 17:34, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This user has just recently been asked by User:Bwilkins (an administrator) to "re-read WP:GAB and recognize that a future non-compliant unblock request will lead to this talkpage being locked from your use to to abuse of the unblock process". Reading some of the user sockpuppet's previous "reasons" for an unblock will shed a better light on the matter. -- Marco Guzman, Jr  Talk  18:30, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
