CONSIDERING RETIREMENT
AlphaBetaGamma is considering retirement, although nothing is set in stone...

This is a major upcoming chess event, and the draft article has several decent sources even if there are a few gaps. There are no BLP issues involved. Can you be more specific about what issues you want addressed before the article is accepted? MaxBrowne2 (talk) 23:01, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Is there anything to verify the entire "Format" section? I'm sure just a tournament bracket or something to just show how the event goes would do... ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 11:30, 1 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Ratio Utility Billing System

@AlphaBetaGamma Thank you for time in inspecting my submission. I have removed unsourced criticisms, and added more references in the criticisms and body. If further changes are necessary, please let me know. MisheardLyric (talk) 02:07, 4 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@AlphaBetaGamma Question: Do you have an example of where the article looks like an essay? Or any other guidance to have it accepted? --MisheardLyric (talk) 02:34, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Well, an essay has the author state their opinions. We don't do essay hosting. ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 03:28, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Etsumi-Nan Line, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Seki Station.

I miscounted my reverts on the article and decided to stop reverting right away. - FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 03:45, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Findagrave

[edit]

When can Findagrave be used as a reliable source, if not to show where a grave is located? Because Ancestry.com is blocked. K72ndst (talk) 01:15, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Although WP:FINDAGRAVE-EL says "Almost never", for most editors it's a "never cite this" thing. Even if it were used as a source, it is not reliable at all because it is user-generated. (This logic is also used to discourage people from citing Wikipedia in Wikipedia) ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 01:20, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

2025 Nascar Brasil draft

[edit]

Added more reliable sources instead Insagram ones, adding info everyday as they come but instead putting links from Instagram im awaiting for a news outlet to add it. Did a big change in the whole draft as well making it better and adding directs for other wiki pages. Telles98 (talk) 01:19, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a lack of information, you might be making a draft too soon, and might want to let the draft rest until the event has enough coverage as you are doing. ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 01:22, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Rassolov Ilya Mikhailovich

Dear @AlphaBetaGamma , I recently submitted an article for publication in the English version of Wikipedia, but it was rejected with the comment: "The content of this article includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standards for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes." I would like to clarify whether this is related only to the formatting of the references or if the sources I used in the article are not suitable for verifying the facts in the biography (or other content). I tried to carefully gather reliable information and am eager to contribute to the development of Wikipedia. If the issue is indeed with the formatting of the references, I would appreciate any additional explanations or specific recommendations for improving the article. I am also ready to review the sources if they do not meet the platform’s requirements. Thank you in advance for your help and support! I look forward to receiving feedback so I can revise the material and bring it up to Wikipedia’s standards. P.crafter (talk) 18:18, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
