April 2007

[edit]

I haven't seen this template before but I have never heard of the Blue Coat School, never mind it being a Irish Parliament, and I have never heard of the National Concert Hall being used either but its is possible as during that period 1919-21 the Dáil was underground and seldom met, and for most of its time many of its members where imprisoned.--padraig3uk 01:41, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template re-org

[edit]

I have re-organised the template along date and location lines. I have also removed all the flags as there were too many and just added to the confusion. I also removed the image of Leinster House as it gives undue prominence to that building. The 20th century list has been split between Dublin and Belfast, geographic location rather than political entity at the time, also it's shorter to have Dublin then Irish Republic / Southern Ireland / Irish Free State / Éire / Ireland / Republic of Ireland. I was wondering too if the General Assembly of Confederate Ireland should be added, although technically not a Parliament, it was one in all but name. It met in Kilkenny, anyone know what building? Sorry, no idea on Kilkenny ... but I just wanted to say well done restructuring the template. It's much clearer now. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 01:09, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blue Coat School

[edit]

I've been trying to tidy up a mess of redirects and links around Blue Coat School, Bluecoat School, Blue-Coat School, The Blue Coat School etc. Most of the remaining links to the new dab page at Blue coat school were from this template. I've disambiguated the link here, as I'm not sure whether it should link to The King's Hospital or Law Society of Ireland or somewhere else. Over to you. PamD (talk) 07:58, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Sorted it out, I think. PamD (talk) 08:26, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
