1994 Mascara earthquake
- ... that the 1994 Mascara earthquake destroyed every house in the villages of Shadlia, Hacine and Sidi Ali Cherif? Source: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-3121.1994.tb00529.x

- A google image search for "Mascara disaster" turned up noting on the earthquake but some shocking photos of a different kind of disaster. Cbl62 (talk) 20:31, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
- I did a search in Arabic and found two videos on YouTube and Facebook—probably the only existing media showing the effects of the Mascara disaster. Dora the Axe-plorer (explore) 08:19, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
- The hook fact is luckily included in the last paragraph of the free first-page preview of the corresponding source, so I can verify that it is accurate. Article has been promoted to GA within seven days of nomination and is long enough, well-cited, and neutral. Hook is interesting (and sad). DigitalIceAge (talk) 23:46, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
