I don't think Wikipedia standards allow the post-nominals MP to be used. Am I correct?--Couter-revolutionary 10:28, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See Alan Clark, as a random example, he was an MP until the day he died and it isn't used.--Couter-revolutionary 22:24, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've put it is bracket to distingush him from other two other Tom O'Donnell's--Vintagekits 22:26, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Righto, I see there are others. I've taken it out of the first line too, as per precedence.--Couter-revolutionary 22:32, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Any volunteers to disambiguate?Tim Griffin 16:12, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia

[edit]

I suggests that the trivia section should be reinstated. Tom O'Donnell was more than just a political being. All through his life he had a cheeky sense of humour. This article is about the man. An incident that sheds light on his personality is relevant. Formerly the Trivia section contained the following:

Throughout his varied life he followed opportunity whenever it came his way and kept a boyish sense of humour.
His grandson Kevin Kinlen fondly recalls that when he was a boy and his aunts were doting on him, his grandfather
encouraged him to tell them to go to hell. He did so and the aunts were shocked. Tom O'Donnell thought it was funny.
