Two notes about the pile of "references" that was present in this article. Firstly, references are not simply linkfarmed as a contextless directory of offsite links; they must be used as footnotes for the article's content. And secondly, about half of the links being farmed were not reliable sources that can confer notability, but were primary sources that cannot confer notability. The following links may be readded to the article as properly formatted footnotes, not simply contextlessly listed directly under the references header, and many other links were not appropriate for use as references at all have already been removed.
