[edit]Started the article. This is really only the beginning, she's such a cultural icon, I don't even know if what I've covered is the most important stuff about her, and undoubtedly a lot more could be added. Things to expand upon:
- Style & Influences
- More about her compositions, including maybe a list of artists who have covered her music (it's a long and distinguished list)
- Discography, list of singles, etc
- More in-depth bio (any other children? significant other?)
- Her influence on the Canadian music scene, both through her music and her organisational efforts/public role
- Other awards
- Quotes
- Citations/sources
I'm not going to, because I know almost nothing about her and I'm a lazy, lazy woman. ;-)) --Anchoress 08:52, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
