Other tracks where her vocals were used:

I'm just moving them here so the knowledge is not lost. They were moved by Olu's request. Perhaps a good idea since these are probably just random remixes and not true collaborations.

  • Shahin at times works on written work with Zohra Badar.

Need clarification on the track names (neither track is listed for either artist)

Should this be listed in List of singer-songwriters or Category:Singer-songwriters?

Eventually a new topic may arise, but I wanted to rescue this info and put it here:

Olu is Shahin Badar's manager, and is credited as a co-songwriter for Jouleh Jouleh

The article's originator

[edit]

I received confirmation via email that [6] was Olu Oyenigba, Shahin's manager. This text was subsequently picked up by answers.com [7]. I was hasty in my cleanup and have restored and revised the text. I have a few more revisions to make, based on Olu's correspondance.

Permission to use a picture of Shahin has been granted, although presumably it is still copyrighted. I have asked about its licensing.

Questions/concerns can be directed to me or by an admin to Olu (via the email address buried in this article's history). -- Sy / (talk) 10:34, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What's with all the '(*)' and '[[Closer)' in the awards section? What does that mean? If no-one replies in the next couple days I will simply remove them. Freikorp (talk) 00:13, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Never-mind, I figured out those were the lists of films and albums she contributed to that were nominated for awards of any kind. Seriously, if she contributed some backing vocals to one section of a major film then that major film was nominated for an academy award, she does not deserve a mention. Removed. Freikorp Ignorance- Any one that contributes her work to any film must be mentioned and shahin badar's vocals are not backing vocals they are featured which the band failed to add when releasing the album. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.103.90.207 (talk) 18:47, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
