Edit request
[edit]Hello,
I would like to request that on the RotorWay page, the name Talon be removed. Also, the business company info is incorrect. Grant Norowitz is no longer with the company at CEO and the company size is 22 people, not 250.
I just wanted to let you know the info. :)
Thank you, Amanda MandyJoy31 (talk) 19:23, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for your request here. I have updated the text on the use of the Talon name. In looking though the company website I don't see any list of key people. Do you have a reference for Norowitz leaving the company or at least the name of his successor and date? Is there a reference for the number of employees, too? Just a suggestion, but it would be helpful for the public, as well as Wikipedia editors, if the company had a "history" web page, as many companies do, that outlines key events like new personnel, new company ownership, new models introduced and so on. I realize that there is the "overview" which outlines some history, but the last date there is 1967! - Ahunt (talk) 19:51, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
Rotorway Elete
[edit]I believe the reference to "only 3 Exec" kits were sold before the company was purchased by John Netherwood is incorrect. My memory of those events are that the Exec was produced for years in different iterations (Exec 90, Exec 152, Exec 162 etc.) before the Elete was introduced. In total, 5 Elite kits were delivered before the purchase/takeover by Netherwood, at which point production of the Elete was discontinued. I don't recall the details of ownership transfer from that point, but I think a South African interest stepped in for a period during which the A600 Talon was introduced and offered as an assembled aircraft. 32.219.32.27 (talk) 11:58, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- I am not sure whet you are referring to here. The article makes no mention of any "Elete". Regardless we go by reliable sources and not personal reminisces. - Ahunt (talk) 12:09, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
