There is no evidence that Queenie married Bertram Phillips. She was married to the racing driver George Newmans in St. Margaret's, Westminster 20 Oct 1919 [1]. [2]. Although I can't find evidence for it, traditionally, she is considered to be the first bride to be married on an aeroplane by captain's privilege.
According to the 12 October 1927 edition of the Australian film magazine Everyones, Queenie Thomas was Australian. Per the link: "New Australian Star. QUEENIE THOMAS, an Australian musical comedy artist, who has been successful in England, is now known as Regina Thomas in France, and is one of the principals in “La Vesta Du Gange,” which will be shown in England under the title “The Shadow of the Temple.” She has also been engaged as star of “The Siren of the Tropics,” another Continental effort." Although it doesn't state where in Australia she was born. She did, however, use the name Regina Thomas for the two films mentioned above. ExRat (talk) 04:52, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
