Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --45.127.122.170 (talk) 11:55, 6 August 2018 (UTC) This does not meets Wikipedia Standards.[reply]

The article should be deleted on WP:Notability. Imran Khan himself has not even become a prime minister and here are his fans creating pages for his dogs. What is notable about his dogs that the world needs to know from an encyclopaedia? --2409:4064:50D:6E76:3F1D:C1FB:E58E:EE3F (talk) 16:28, 7 August 2018 (UTC)![reply]

An article on Imran Khan is normal. He is notable. But his dog is not. Please, don't misuse Wikipedia, confusing it with a fan site.
The PROD has been contested, and a speedy has already been declined. Start a WP:AFD if deletion is desired.--SamHolt6 (talk) 17:19, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

@Hassan Nazeer Chaudhry: I'm surprised you tagged it for speedy deletion. Guess you need to check this. I don't think speedy apply here in any case so you better nominate it for deletion instead. --Saqib (talk) 12:00, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Saqib: The dogs might be a popular culture in west, however, in Pakistan , several politicians have pets and zoos, but none of them appears on wikipedia. Clearly vandalism is intended by relating:
  • A gift of dogs from military dictator, trying to establish his relations with ex-army dictator.
  • A story of row between his spouses due to dogs, quoting Ummat and Daily Mail both known for their trill oriented contents, which mostly is under investigated.
  • Trying to establish his love for dogs , which is not thought good in Pakistani culture.
  • Establishing a point that Imran Khan violates animal writes as he killed one dog due to dehydration while his car ran over the other dogs. Non of this information is authentic and obtained from reliable sources.

Clearly this page violates G1. Patent nonsense , G3. Its Pure vandalism and blatant hoaxes and G10. Page serves no purpose and doesn't convey any information for general public

I agree to your point of nominating it for deletion instead of speedy deletion.

@Hassan Nazeer Chaudhry: Okay man. Bring it to AfD. Will see you there. --Saqib (talk) 12:16, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You're kidding...

[edit]

I'm updating the WP:Unusual Articles page. How are animals considered 'organic produce'? This is also Signpost fodder. Barbara 21:41, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sheru dog

[edit]

Article says, he was Born in Mushaarrafs farm, then in the next line it says It was a gift from ex German chancellor. they are self contradictory. --DBigXray 22:32, 16 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@DBigXray: Wikipedia:Conflicting sources. --Saqib (talk) 11:49, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Saqib , I fixed it here there is controversy on the father of sheru, not sheru, unless i am missing something. I guess, we can remove the unconfirmed info on Sheru's parent [1] quote The puppy was born at a dog center at the Musharraf’s farmhouse, However there is a dispute over the legitimate owner of the puppy’s parents. A close aide of Musharraf said, the dog used for crossbreeding was gifted to the former dictator by the former German chancellor. However, Humayun Gohar, a common friend of Musharraf and Imran, claimed the dog declared Mr Pakistan was owned by him and the mother belonged to Musharraf. . --DBigXray 12:45, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article without encyclopedic interest

[edit]

This article is ridiculous. It has no interest for everyone who's not Pakistani. Wikipedia is worldwide, and this could be interesting on a blog, not on Wikipedia.

You are not allowed to delete banners this way. Banners goal is to discuss

[edit]

Hey, you have no rights to remove a proposal deletion banner. If you are a lobyist or not, it's not something that interest us. But deleting banner is not allowed. I will fill a complaint about this. If you want to discuss why pets of Imran Khan are internationaly known and important worldwide, discuss it there please, but deleting banner NO. Wikipedia is not a private Pakistani site.

DO NOT REMOVE THE DELETION PROPOSAL BANNER.

You replied that it's sourced. It's not the problem to have sources or not, it's a problem of worldwide interest. Nobody cares in the world about politicians pets. They are not heroes or notable people.

Short an simple; Wikipedia:Proposed_deletion#Objecting.--SamHolt6 (talk) 17:53, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You prevented me to put a deletion proposal banner; I will complain because it's not normal. I'm an European, and not a Pakistani, but I see this politician is helped with immoral lobbists.

YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO PREVENT USERS TO PUT DELETION PROPOSAL TO DISCUSS. Wikipedia is not your private site.

This talk page is also not a forum, IP. If you have a policy-based argument for deletion, please nominate the article for deletion at WP:AFD. As far as the PROD is concerned, Wikipedia:Proposed_deletion#Objecting is clear that any-and-all editors can object to the PROD at any time by removing the template.--SamHolt6 (talk) 18:10, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
