What happened to the aircraft afterwards?
- Good question, but no answer in Wixey's book. My impression is that a lot of one-offs that went to places like Martlesham or Filixstowe have unrecorded fates. Wixey dos not spell out the funding in this case, but probably N202 was AM property so maybe after they rejected it they stripped out engine plus, and put it on the dump. I've never seen any mention of records kept at these places; if any survive, they would be a goldmine. Might be worth another check in Flight, though there did not seem to be much on the Pike. I'll give it a whirl.~~
