Article would be improved with a map

This article would be much more useful to the very active readership if someone of the map-making persuasion might sketch up a Wiki-licensable map. N2e (talk) 23:06, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't disagree; however, this is a problem with the media coverage in Washington state at the moment too. I suspect that the fires move and change too fast, so that a map will be out-of-date as soon as it's posted. Nevertheless, a map with place names would be helpful even for those of us who are reasonably local, as some of the small towns featured prominently in media coverage are quite remote and not familiar even to Washington residents.
