Second 'lift' ride, prod, and disappointment

Yesterday (it's third day of public operation), there wasn't any Phalanx operator in the second lift I was in. I also didn't notice a roof panel becoming dislodged. The 'lift' did its best to appear to descend (I was expecting there to be something other than the ride exit afterwards).

I was prodded in the back at the bottom of the drop. Whether that was by one of the staff hiding in the dark pretending to be an alien or by an automatic system, I don't know.

If Nemesis the ride weren't still around, I would suggest including this in the 'brand necrophilia' category, should there be one... Lovingboth (talk) 16:19, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ride closure

[edit]

I have recently reverted an edit on this. Please post any sources on this page (or include a "ref" tag) before adding any more material to this pageMdann52 (talk) 15:26, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for August/September closure

[edit]

The reason for the closure at the moment is that people were able to work their way out of the harness during the drop, which presented a risk of injury (and the park is taking no risks following the smiler crash). Ask any of the staff why it's closed and this is what they'll tell you. Not sure you'll get a reliable source unless someone wants to film a staff member though. According to the park it's not even closed. It's being listed as officially open, bizarrely.Wikiditm (talk) 21:33, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
