Name pronunciation?

Does anyone know the correct pronunciation of "Whang"? In the interview on Pitchfork here: http://pitchfork.com/news/65098-savages-jehnny-beth-talks-to-lcd-soundsystems-nancy-whang-on-beats-1/ it sounds like she says Wong.
