Proposed deletion
[edit]For posterity, the IP editor 175.213.166.159 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) objected to my proposed deletion of this article with the following:
There's evidence of who he is and his role on Wiki itself -- see here --
http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Aron_Baron
and I quote, Aron Baron (Russian: Аро́н Дави́дович Ба́рон; 1891–1937) was an anarcho-syndicalist revolutionary and theorist, brother of the Red Cossacks Army Ataman Mikhail Baron. Pseudonyms included Faktorovich, Kantorovich, Polevoy.
Here's more references to the man, from the reliable LIB.COM
https://libcom.org/article/baron-aron-davidovich-aka-kantorovich-faktorovich-poleyevoy-1891-1937
I disagree with the reasons listed. Firstly, Wikipedia is not a reliable source. Citing another Wikipedia article to justify the existence of this one isn't good enough. The above-cited libcom.org source states the following:
"Assertions that he [Aron Baron] was involved in March 1918 in the defence of Poltava as a military commander appear to be mistaken as he is confused with Mikhail Baron, a commander at Poltava and an anarchist turned Bolshevik."
So Mikhail Baron is only mentioned in passing and entirely in relation to Aron Baron. Wikipedia and a single sentence in a libcom article just aren't sufficient for proving notability. --Grnrchst (talk) 10:40, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
