The name of a band he worked with is misspelled under "Associated acts". After a lawsuit, Green Jellö was required to change their name. Their name has since been changed to "Green Jellÿ", pronounced the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jimmy Harley Jones (talk • contribs) 18:53, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As reported by ThePRP, the rape allegation was pretty quickly proven to be a hoax when evidence was uncovered by Reddit users that the person running the Twitter account was actually a male who was 12 years younger than they were claiming to be and was also running another Twitter account that replied to the first account with an allegation of being raped by Trent Reznor. Why hasn't this section been updated to reflect this new information? ObsequeyTheDeathOfArt (talk) 09:15, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That article seems to specifically avoid saying it proved anything. It does suggest the allegations were a hoax, which is already reflected in the article by MJK's denial. I'm also not sure the PRP can be considered a reliable source; it seems to have only one staff member, and has no statement on their editorial practices. Given this is a BLP, I don't think that source should be included. EducatedRedneck (talk) 11:02, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ovalise Pinging you here to start a discussion. Wikipedia has no rules on where news agencies get their sources from; court documents, personal interviews, internet research, all that is okay for them to use. Our job is only to report what reliable sources say, of which Rolling Stone and the like are surely reliable. The allegations may very well be false, but the allegations themselves were made and reported in WP:RS. EducatedRedneck (talk) 11:12, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I feel like this section can be deleted at this point, or at least be demoted to a paragraph rather than an entire subcategory. This happened two years ago, was refuted, had no follow up, and seems to be a pretty "dead" story. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.36.112.38 (talk) 14:09, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
