Infobox

[edit]

I added the Discography infobox, by borrowing the one from The Smashing Pumpkins discography, and filled in some of the info. We still need to add a section for Live's music videos (with director info), citations for chart appearances, and any other Live song appearances on Soundtracks or various artist compilations. --Mtjaws (talk) 18:16, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Friends of Live Holiday Gifts

[edit]

Should we include listings - and pages - for the Friends of Live Holiday Gifts? They're official albums, just limited pressings for the FOL fan club. I have roughly half the Holiday Gifts, and could prolly find the info on the rest, but I'm not sure if there's any standing policy on albums that weren't released commercially. 春・Harukaze・風 01:57, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Recent changes by NatriX

[edit]

Having only just revamped this page I was surprised to see someone else make so many changes so soon after. Having looked at the changes carefully I have reversed the edit for the following reasons...

  • ALBUM CHART TABLE - Canada, Denmark & Belgium (Wallonia) all removed - why?
  • ALBUM CHART TABLE - Surely internal links from column headers should link to the album chart from that country, not the wiki page for the country itself. (eg NED should link to the wiki page for the Dutch Album Chart, not the wiki page for The Netherlands).
  • ALBUM CHART TABLE - The column for sales certification needs to indicate that these are AMERICAN figures.
  • COMPILATION ALBUM CHART TABLE - Most citations removed - why?
  • COMPILATION ALBUM CHART TABLE - New US citation is a deadlink.
  • COMPILATION ALBUM CHART TABLE - Mysterious empty column headed "sales" has appeared.
  • LIVE ALBUM CHART TABLE - Removed completely - why?
  • SINGLES CHART TABLE - Finland removed - why?
  • SINGLES CHART TABLE - A plethora of non sales based US charts added. This is against wiki guidelines, especially when some songs have reached Billboard 100. The Alternative songs chart is fair enough, but not all the others.
  • FILM SECTION - "Hold Me Up" deleted without explanation.

Also no edit summary or indication given as to reasons for the changes. References poorly titled & less information in them than before.

I concede that the FILM section needs a tidy up but apart from that feel that this article was much better how it was. Iangurteen (talk) 15:16, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that this person's major changes reduced the quality of the page, and therefore I support the revert. Of course there is always room for improvement, but this wasn't one of those times. Good call. --Mtjaws (talk) 18:57, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Music Videos

[edit]

Someone has started a section on Music Videos, but only put ONE entry in it. Live made many music videos over their career and gained significant TV exposure. Someone with an interest in this band might want to have a go at a comprehensive video discography? Iangurteen (talk) 10:09, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
