List of suktas and stutisList of something?Relisted. Vegaswikian (talk) 01:52, 8 September 2011 (UTC) I see sukta, stuti and stotra, all apparently names for the same thing. What should the title of this list be? Should it be one of those three terms, or all three? D O N D E groovily Talk to me 04:30, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note: I've posted a note at WP:IN asking for clarification. --regentspark (comment) 20:36, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I think the title is correct as is. Suktas are Vedic hymns while Stutis are hymns/eulogies that aren't from within the Vedas; the distinction between stutis and stotrams is just length I think. —SpacemanSpiff 21:03, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Suktas and Stutis are two completely different things to the Hindu. But Stutis and Stotras have been used interchangeably. In my opinion, we have four options:
  1. Keep the title as it is
  2. Rename to List of Suktas and Stotra
  3. Split the list in to a List of Suktas and a List of Stutis
  4. Split the list in to a List of Suktas and a List of Stotras Zuggernaut (talk) 03:36, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
