Suggesting a table

[edit]

As the box at the top already says that the list is bady formatted, I'd like to propose turning it into a table, with the sorta columns of

  • Name
  • Birth and death
  • Country (both country of origin and with what countries they're particularly affiliated because of their career)
  • Best-known films
  • Notes (mainly for keywords on their main themes, as in their thematic choices of scripts, genres, noted qualities in their directorial style and mood, etc. These notes would probably all need references, but I suppose their biographical articles will often hold them.)

Note that the box only says the citations are badly formatted.Hirschjoshua (talk) 05:16, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I would use a table like that, but would avoid "Best known films" and "Country" for films as country is a very vague term as it could deal with main production countries and so forth. Best-known films just sound like it's leading toward and edit war. They can learn more about their better known films by clicking the name. Andrzejbanas (talk) 18:22, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
