Persistent vandalism
[edit]There seems to be a history of persistent vandalism to this page due to the LGBTQIA content that originated from IP addresses of unregistered users. Will investigate putting a more permanent solution into effect cf. a short-term one. BrillLyle (talk) 09:28, 19 October 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Great job on adding to this article! I could not find any major errors and your contributions are posed in a way which does not stretch out the knowledge or use information to an excessive point that would no longer suit the page. My two suggestions would be to try and find a picture for this article if you can although I know finding one without a copyright may be hard. Another suggestion would be to organize your awards and filmography sections using tables. This may make it easier for a viewer to follow. Overall, I think you did a good job on the article and especially like how you organized the career section by specifically stating the person's work in television and film. [edit]This Wikipedia article is good and provides useful information surrounding the filmmaker. There is good information surrounding her start in film and television as well as her life outside of it. It has a good neutral voice throughout and does not read as if it is arguing anything. There is a good list of sources for the information within the article and many appear reliable. Your additions to the article are both important and well-thought out. One thing to keep in mind is in the filmography section, putting the films and the years they were released into a table would make it easier for the reader. I would also suggest expanding on her inspiration for her film The Kids Are All Right if more information is available. Other than that, it is a well-researched and organized article.
