The birth name should be mentioned somewhere in the article. I understand the sensitivity of the dead name issue. But not mentioning at all is the other extreme. We are an encyclopedia. Things should not be censored only because some people want to. It should not be in the lead, but at least somewhere in the article. Wester (talk) 19:46, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done per WP:DEADNAME. --DanielRigal (talk) 20:12, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to change the picture with her in the green as Kim dislikes this picture 2A00:8B40:46D1:0:68B4:1DC8:D646:B758 (talk) 20:51, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. to what? Also, that's not a good rationale Cannolis (talk) 20:57, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for raising this! We can only use photos that are freely licensed, which makes our options very limited. If you have contact with Petras, see if she's willing to donate a selfie under Commons:Wikimedia VRT release generator. It must be the copyright owner (the person who takes the photo, not necessarily the subject of the photo) to go through this process. — Bilorv (talk) 21:52, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace is Bonn (not Cologne)

[edit]

As already stated by someone last year: Kim said in an interview called „Kim Petras im 1LIVE Fragenhagel“ by German radio station 1LIVE (shared on June 30, 2023) that she was not born in Cologne but in Bonn (in minute 1:20-1:30). Yes! Also wanted to mention this. The German Wikipedia page has the correct fact as well.
