Problem with source
[edit]I cannot find any sort of confirmation that Zollo wrote the following source:
- Zollo, Paul (May 1989). "Madonna on her turbulence". SongTalk. 10 (5). Mortimer Zuckerman: 21.
This source was added by Legolas2186 with the edit summary "Major exp[ansion for GA". I should think that the GA reviewer will question the source and the text supposedly connected to it.
Paul Zollo mentioned Madonna in a book of his but he appears to have never written about Madonna in Song Talk. Furthermore, there appears to be no article called "Madonna on her turbulence".
At Talk:Saqib Saleem and Talk:Madonna: Like an Icon/GA1 I have questioned Legolas about sources that cannot be verified but I have not received a satisfactory answer. Those two articles were recently expanded by Legolas in an attempt to make GA level. This makes me suspicious of Legolas's other recent GA expansion work, which is why I am here questioning the above cite. Binksternet (talk) 18:43, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- I removed the unverified Paul Zollo cite.
- The above-mentioned GA nomination was pulled for inactivity from the nominator before any reviewer started the review. The problems listed at User talk:Legolas2186/Fixing citation problems were very likely part of the decision. This article was part of the cleanup work. Keep It Together (Madonna song) → Keep It Together (song) – Per WP:SONGDAB: "disambiguation is only required when multiple songs or albums of the same name have articles" TheKaphox T 17:36, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 06:57, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
- Not sure. Keep It Together (album) has a song by that name (i.e. "8. 'Keep It Together'").— Godsy (TALKCONT) 23:24, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
- @TheKaphox and Godsy: queried move request Anthony Appleyard (talk) 06:57, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support per nominator's rationale. The song name being present in another album work has no significance since it does not have any article and does not seem like it ever will be. —IB [ Poke ] 08:34, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support per consensus at WP:SONGDAB. The artist name isn't needed unless there are multiple articles on songs of the same name.--Cúchullain t/c 16:35, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support. There used to be another article, Keep It Together (Puddle of Mudd song), but that's been a redirect for over 3 years, so the excess disambiguation is no longer required. Station1 (talk) 01:40, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
