NPOV

[edit]

This seems pretty biased. In fact, it reads more like a press release than an encyclopedia entry.--192.58.204.226 20:36, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • User name who made the last update is "Igorecords". IGO Records is Miss Jones' recording label. Does anyone feel this article is important enough for update? SteamyV 20:04, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The text is a direct copy of [1]. So either it's a copyright violation or a blatant (and very POV) advert by the record company. Either way, I removed it and reverted to an earlier stub. andy (talk) 15:55, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Incubation

[edit]

This article was correctly speedied as A7, but the subject is almost certainly notable. See, for example, her AllMusic bio: http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&searchlink=KACEY%7CJONES&sql=11:hpfuxqehldse~T1

The page had been languishing in my userspace for a while, so I moved it here. If it helps, there is a copyvio in the article's history. --ThaddeusB (talk) 03:45, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Birth name and birth date

[edit]

The Rolling Stone publication said she died Sept 1st at 66 and her real name is Gail Zeiler, hence I made a research and I found this -> https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VGHK-DVH Thanks. --Danielvis08 (talk) 23:26, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Added birth name. Thanks. — Wyliepedia 05:40, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Upon her death, it has been revealed that she was born Gail Zeiler and made somewhat of a name for herself before becoming Kacey Jones. Therefore, the Zeiler article should be merged here, as this is more encyclopedic. — Wyliepedia 06:04, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Launchballer: No, you suggested speedy deletion of Gail Zeiler. There's a difference. — Wyliepedia 11:13, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I also merged what little was there into Kacey Jones. Check this page's history.--Launchballer 11:20, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Launchballer: Thanks. I performed the cleanup and redirect. Thanks to all for a quick vote! — Wyliepedia 11:37, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
