Jonathan King photo

[edit]

Seems strange to include a photo of a convicted child abuser on an article about Jon Bon Jovi with seemingly no context. Can it be removed? Ollielukefrancis (talk) 10:03, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

They were in the photo together. I am concerned with the removal, because the reasoning seems to be rooted in public relations white washing and reputation management activity given the initial removal having been done at the hands of subject's public relations editor Talk:Jon_Bon_Jovi/Archive_1#semi_protected_image_request,_11_April_2023 Graywalls (talk) 09:14, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A son of two former marines?

[edit]

What does that line mean in the early life section? It goes on to say his dad was a barber and his mother a Playboy Bunny. I’m surprised such a glaring error is on a major article. Can that be clarified or fixed? Alexandermoir (talk) 19:03, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Do not add children's names"

[edit]

I was going to add his son Jake Bongiovi to the infobox (so it would read “4, including Jake”) as is the norm when one of the kids is notable. However, there’s a note saying not to add the kids’ names and I would like to ask why? Is it from before Jake had his own page? If so, could I go and make the change? Just wanted to check. CAMERAwMUSTACHE (talk) 18:56, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I checked the page history and it predates Jake being notable enough for a page so unless there’s some talk page discussion I’m missing I’m gonna add it if no one can show me a reason it’s there other than the fact that none of his kids were notable at the time. Accuracy of Timelines

[edit]

As per the "Personal life" section, it is stated that:

On September 11th, 2024, Jon Bon Jovi helped prevent a woman from jumping off the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.[1]

However, the article cited (as well as posts online made by the local PD) states that it was "on Tuesday night".

I don't have the capacity to make this edit from "11th" to "10th", so just figured I'd mention it here. Jjelat (talk) 13:19, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
