Requested move 22 October 2018

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Consensus not to move, therefore, not moved. Per the widespread usage of uppercase for this person's stage name, MOS:TMRULES allows the uppercase version to be used as the article name. HRVY → Hrvy – per WP:ACRONYM Flooded with them hundreds 20:20, 22 October 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. Iffy★Chat -- 12:23, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 20:44, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

*Move to Nirujan Vijayarajan - Had I not looked at Sams comment I wouldn't have had a clue what HRVY stood for!, There's no mention of Harvey in the article so as such It makes more sense to his full name as opposed to a name no one knows. –Davey2010Talk 22:57, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose per MOS:TMRULES: Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization practices, even if the trademark owner considers nonstandard formatting "official", as long as this is a style already in widespread use (emphasis mine). Well, I've just perused first 100 Google news results [1], and I haven't found a single source that does not write his moniker in uppercase. Perhaps it is just a stylization, but it is universally accepted among reliable sources so we should not be an exception. No such user (talk) 11:10, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Collapsing as no good is coming out of this.
  • Well, you've been here long enough to know that this is an encyclopedia that Anyone Can Vandalize™ and thus should not "read everything at face value". When the lead section and the infobox fail to even mention the subject's title, and seem disconnected from the article body, it's a sign that something fishy went on. No such user (talk) 14:58, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely disagree, Everyone comes to these articles and reads them at face value .... Ofcourse vandalism is easy as pie to spot but in this case when you've never heard of this person before ofcourse you're going to think that's their real name (I actually assumed it was a Phillipean or Singaporian name although I didn't fully read the article just skimmed bits), A simple message on my talkpage making me aware it was vandalism would've sufficed but there we are. –Davey2010Talk 15:24, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

How is his name pronounced? I mean, same as Harvey?

This Apple Music source states songs that are included on the Can Anybody Hear Me? album; therefore the TBA's in the discography section should be changed. 208.98.222.87 (talk) 23:47, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done, except for "I Don't Think About You", which is not in the track listing on Apple Music or HRVY's official website. ◢  Ganbaruby!  (Say hi!) 12:27, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In discography section: "Younger" is also included on the album, according to this source. Also, add "Nevermind" as it just got released from the album. 199.7.157.12 (talk) 15:48, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

no Unnecessary The table doesn't include a of the songs included; thus, I don't think this edit is necessary. P,TO 19104 (talk) (contribs) 20:17, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone add "Good Vibes" with Matoma to the discography? It just got released last week.[1] 199.7.158.240 (talk) 18:22, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Please provide a reliable source for this information (more than just a tweet like this), and describe exactly what should be added.
Here is a new source for "Good Vibes". Please add this single with Matoma to the discography.[2] 199.7.158.224 (talk) 19:25, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Image?

[edit]

Here's how HRVY looked on his Twitter in February 2021: [2]. And here's his 2021 Calendar (c/o Amazon). He looks nothing like the main image here? Martinevans123 (talk) 18:49, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As with the backstage image from Instgram, the main image seems to be from quite a few years old and thus not representative of how he looks now. The caption "HRVY on his way to a perform at a concert, February 2021" isn't supported by any sources. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:09, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
