[edit]While I am not an expert on this topic and hence hesitate to edit it, I note that some information is contradictory with the MacTutor entry, which says that Curry found about Schönfinkel's work in the US, not Göttingen, and that Hilbert was only nominal adviser to his thesis, Bernays being the real supervisor. Would someone more familiar with the subject matter check this and make the appropriate corrections if any?

- Agreed. I have a citation and I'm in the process of editing the article. A B Carter (talk) 01:58, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Should it be mentioned that he is possibly the only person to have two programming languages named after him, Haskell and Curry?
- That is not a true statement. For example, before I had my morning cup of joe, I created 3 different simple programming languages and named them after myself. Perhaps you mean notable languages? Even then, I would think the fact would be very difficult to prove. :) fintler (talk) 13:35, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

The article mentions three programming languages named after him, including one called "Brooks" but I can't find any programming language named Brooks anywhere. There is one called BrookGPU, but that appears to be unrelated to Haskell Curry.Tagautier (talk) 21:29, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
