RMA? No Cover?

[edit]

What is RMA? The official cover can be seen on Ciara's myspace account.

There's an album cover there now. And "RMA" is RealNetworks--Do It - To It

"Music video" section header removed

[edit]

Wikipedia:Guide_to_layout#Structure_of_the_article recommends (for good reason) against short sections, which is particularly relevant to this article, in which the entire body of text (including the one paragraph on the music video) is small enough to become the one "section". I added the lyrics, please don't remove them! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cristybepfan1 (talkcontribs) 10:52, 20 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Hello Cristybepfan1. Lyrics are subject to copyright and generally speaking should not be added to encyclopedia articles. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 10:58, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

[edit]
  • Include release date + label
Adding date, but lables are generally relegated to albums only.

Background and composition

[edit]
  • First sentence is unsourced
Added source
  • "Baz Dresinger of of Blender" - lol extra 'of'
Done
  • Link digital download and CD single
Done
  • Include label
Done
  • The performances section is a bit awkward here. Maybe create a section for it or place it in the music video section?
The reason I stuck it here is because there are not enough to warrant their own section, and music video was kind of lengthy itself, and the background/comp. was pretty short. Candyo32 - Merry CHRISTmas :) 16:55, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Critical reception

[edit]
Done. Candyo32 - Merry CHRISTmas :) 16:57, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Chart performance

[edit]
  • Lead and table say Platinum cert, but this section says Gold?
Done
  • Many of the charts are unreferenced in the prose

Music video

[edit]
  • Link CGI like you do in lead
Done
  • "Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, the stars of Step Up make apperances" - comma after 'Up'
Done
  • Déjà Vu needs quote marks
Done
  • Beyonce → Beyoncé
Added [sic] template as Adaso wrote it as such. Candyo32 - Merry CHRISTmas :) 17:02, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's OK to change minor things like this per MOS:QUOTE, so I changed it. Adabow (talk · contribs) 19:42, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
