The term four-engined bomber links to heavy bomber. Shooting down a four-engined bomber was considered a noteworthy achievement among German fighter pilots. Does this answer help? MisterBee1966 (talk) 10:05, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

References to Knight's Cross

I have reverted this deletion because the sources may differ on the details of the Knight's Cross (and its higher grades). The citations at the end of a bullet list is not Wikipedia:Citation overkill and does not clutter readability.
