[edit]"In 1839 von Zeppelin returned to America to meet and learn from the experienced Prof. Lowe to gain all the knowledge he could in ballooning." Seems pretty unlikely as he would have been a one year old. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.157.77.3 (talk) 02:49, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Proper Name
[edit]If "von" should be omitted when the title of "Graf" is used, why is his name introduced as "Ferdinand Adolf August Heinrich Graf (Count) von Zeppelin" in the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.129.99.205 (talk) 20:32, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Led Zeppelin cover
[edit]Does this really belong in the article? TJSwoboda 04:21, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
- It seems a stretch...also, the album cover is fair use, non-free licensed. I am removing it. —Gaff ταλκ 03:44, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Where's the company?
[edit]Surely 'Zeppelin Airship Company' should have its own article, and not merely a niche in that of the man? Ranmore (talk) 18:47, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
Army Career section: Count in 1853?
[edit]Zepelin is referred to as "Count" bere recounting his army career beginning in 1853, however his father was still alive and would be for another 33 years. When was the title passed down? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.178.50.46 (talk) 23:14, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
