Fiction
[edit]The very first sentence of the article says that it describes a pseudo-philosophical theory from a theatre play (The Nude by Šebánek and Svěrák) and that in this play the theory was proposed by a fictitious genious. The rest of the article describes the theory and its "history", as it is presented in the play. Could anybody hesitate, whether it is fictional or not? Therefore the fiction template should be removed. Jan.Kamenicek 18:47, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Spoiler tag
[edit]I removed the spoiler tag before I remembered that this fellow is a fictional character. Nevertheless I think we can do without the tag. People come to Wikipedia to learn stuff. Putting a warning sign up saying "watch out, you might learn stuff" is a bit lame. --Tony Sidaway 23:28, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- The fact that he is fictional is written in the very first sentence. I believe that the spoiler should be there, because lots of people come here to learn something, but do not want to learn anything about the books, films or plays which they have not read/seen yet. This article describes a monologue from a theatre play in detail. It also reveals Cimrmans fictionality, while all the plays about him are based on pretending that he was a real person. So, I think that the spoiler should go back.
- This is a 30+ year old play; keeping a spoiler warning here is rather strange given that spoiler tags are only used for very recent works and in certain cases. There are also no plot twists here whose knowledge might substantially diminish enjoyment of the work. So the warning has been removed. Kusma (talk) 09:52, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, you are right. Or something like: Spoiler alert -Jesus Christ was crucificied! 185.91.165.69 (talk) 09:56, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
