Hunters Lodge Inn Henge
[edit]I have found some references to this henge as "Hunter's Lodge", but none (apart from the web page linked) to "Hunters Lodge Inn Henge", a name which I think must be based on the modern "Hunters Lodge Inn", so I shall delete "Inn". Moonraker2 (talk) 09:24, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
- Seems reasonable to me. Do we know how close it is to Hunter's Hole? I fgancy a trip there for lunch to get local gen & maybe some pics.— Rod talk 09:36, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
- Must be pretty near, but no idea where exactly. You could try calling the Wessex Cave Club on 01749 672310. Moonraker2 (talk) 09:46, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
- Looking at maps its about 500 meters away. Also close to Stock Hill, Priddy Mineries, Priddy Circles & various Tumulus - its an area with lots of interesting history.— Rod talk 09:55, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
- And a choice of pubs in the village, I think? Moonraker2 (talk) 10:23, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
