Unnamed Books

[edit]

"Many of his most important papers in philosophy of language, epistemology, philosophical logic, meta-ethics, and the interpretation of Wittgenstein have been collected in two volumes published by Harvard University Press." - Er... I assume you're talking about Rails to Infinity and Saving the Difference; why not say? I'd edit the page, only I'm afraid you might have had some other thought in mind - I'd don't wish to preempt you mistakenly. 128.232.243.176 (talk) 19:30, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mr Aeroplane: I assume this is what was meant too. Why not change it?

Metaphysical work

[edit]

Mr Aeroplane (talk) 14:46, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Mr Aeroplane: ``no single, discourse-invariant context in which truth consists, changed to ``no single, discourse-invariant thing in which truth consists,. Truth can't consist in a `context'. Also I can't ever recall Wright putting it that way. `Thing' is pretty vague, but it seems as good to me as any alternative. If more precision was wanted we could opt for `predicate' or `property' which are the terms Wright uses when trying to be precise about the thesis.[reply]
