I agree with your assessment here in principle and was in the process of removing said content the last time it was added by an IP, but you got to it first. I will add, however, that Benjamin did come out and make a public statemnt regarding this that included an apology to the other parties involved in the incident. Whether that turns out to be something worth mentioning most likely depends on whether anything further directly involving him related to this incident starts receiving coverage in reliable sources. If it does, then it might be appropriate to discuss whether NPOV content on the incident and its aftermath could possibly be added to the article. I think it's premature to try and add any such content now since a Wikipedia article isn't a news website that needs to be constantly updated. I also think it's imappropriate because it appears that Benjamin is no longer married to woman who was just charged in relation to this incident, and it's not clear how he's directly involved other than it involved his daughter. We should wait to see how things play out and what the true extent of Benjiman's involvement turns out to be before trying to WP:BITR content into the article. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:41, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think he was ever married to that woman, and his apology for his daughter's action is most likely UNDUE for the unforeseen future given the amount of extensive coverage of his career that is not published on his article. Morbidthoughts (talk) 20:00, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I saw some things online which referred to her as his "ex-wife", but I agree that the lack of clarity about their relationship is one of the reasons why we need to be very very cautious here in adding any content about this incident to the article at the moment. There could be lots of reasons while he apologized, but nothing I've read so far directly ties him to the incident other than the fact that he was identified as being the girl's father. The recent IP edits appear to be nothing more than BLP violating vandalism which means that another WP:RPP should be made to at least prevent that type of disruption from happening. One of the more recent edits was revdeleted by an image and the offending IP was warned, but reinstating protection on the page seems likely to be more effective than trying to have action taken against individual IP accounts. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:40, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
